Chris's POV
Where the hell could she be, I walk through the streets, turning corner and corner, thinking, just thinking.
The one place I think of where she could be is worth a shot to go to. I increase my pace until I'm at a full sprint. The wind whips my face as I hear the waves crashing on the sand. I walk down the beach. I see a silhouette of a girl laying in the sand. I run over and see its Sam.
"Oh my god Sam!" I yell as rush to her side
"Chris I'm fine" she says and pushes me off her. She's never pushed me away.
"Come on let's get you home" I say
"No Chris! Don't you get it! I'm trying to get away from there!" She yells
"I'm trying to help you" I choke out
"I don't need your help Chris" she spits
"I don't want you to go" I tell her
"And you think I do?" She questions angrily
"No. What have I got to do to make you stay?" I ask
"You can't do anything! I have to go, my dad has custody of me now so I have to move to Queensland" she frowns, hanging her head
"Please" I whisper
"I'm sorry Chris. This just won't work anymore. You'll be on tour and I'll be in another state. The distance will eventually break us." She says honestly
"No please Sam! Don't do this! We can work things out! I'm begging you" I plead, tears brimming my eyes
"You don't listen when I talk,
Maybe you'll listen when I walk" she says"If you have to" I hang my head
"I'm sorry maybe we're meant for each other, just not now." she whispers one last time before standing up and walking away.
I collapse onto the ground. It wasn't that I was at a loss for words- rather the opposite. I had too many, jumbling up in my head like a tsunami, threatening to drown me at any point. The weight of the world is getting harder to hold up.
I swear she was the one. There is nothing I wouldn't do to make her mine. From the moment we started talking i knew I wanted her in my life.
She is the reason my heart beats just a little faster each day, but now she's gone.

Sam's POV
Today I was leaving for Queensland. I had said goodbye to all of my friends and was now waiting in the airport for our flight to be called.
I haven't talked to my father at all. Not once. Nor will I.
I miss Chris like crazy, but it's for the best. I knew we couldn't last the distance, we can't last a few days without each other let alone a whole year.
Moving to Queensland with my dad doesn't seem like a solution to any problems. I barely know him and I'm entirely sure he doesn't know anything about me. The only thing I know about him it that he is an asshole. I haven't seen him for pretty much my whole life.
My mum stands next to Jordan, trying not to cry. Her bottom lip is quivering as she watches us.
"I'll miss you so much" she tells me for the hundredth time as she hugs me tightly. She pulls away but keeps her hands on my shoulders. "It'll be fine, I promise. Make sure you text me when you land so I know you're safe," she rambles on and on about important things to do and remember, but I'm not listening.
