It had been a year since the night of hell between Chris and I. We hadn't spoken at all, but I still saw him. Well... I saw him through my laptop screen an magazines. I didn't know the I'll story but somehow their small band grew bigger and bigger and now they were finishing their America tour. I still talked with Ethan and Jakob occasionally, but it was awkward how Chris and I left things.

They said he was so crushed when he heard the news about him not being able to become a father.

I walked down the beach that was two blocks down from my new house that I had recently moved to in Sydney. I was so glad to be back home, yet sometimes I still longed to go back to Queensland. After spending a year there, it had grown on me and felt like a second home. But Sydney was my place and dad eventually- with a lot of persuading- finally said that I could come back.

I couldn't afford much with my low paying job at a music production shop. I had finally decided to get a move on with my life and become a music producer. When they hired me, I had to start small, like getting people coffee and working in the radio shack at night, controlling what music was playing around 3am.

I was basically living off microwave meals. I scanned the horizon as I stood in the ankle deep water.

"Oh my god," someone mumbled next to me. I turned my head to be greeted with the hazel eyes from none other than the Ethan Kaparthy.

"Ethan?" I gasped.

"Holy shit Sammy!" He grinned as he pulled me into a hug, "it's so good to see you!"

"It's so good to see you too," I gushed as I hugged him back even tighter.

"Is that a fan or someone we know?" Jakob asked as he came up to us.

"Gumdrop!" I squealed as I jumped up to hug him.

Jakob hugged back when he realised it was me, a huge grin plastered on his face. I was smiling so hard it hurt.

I hadn't seen them in so long, let alone be hugged by them.

"We missed you so much," Jakob mumbled into my neck.

"I missed you too," I whispered back.

They I latched themselves from me so I could inspect them. They looked the same, but more mature. Their features were more defined, they were each more muscular, their hair was longer, Ethan had more facial hair and Jakob's face was still as smooth as baby's ass.

"Where is...." I trailed off as I watched the lanky brunette boy waltz towards us.

"Look I found-" his smile dropped along with the items in his hands as he made eye contact with me.

"Chris," I breathed simply.

No words left his mouth, he just stared. His eyes raked over my body and searched for my face as if he couldn't believe I was standing in front of him. I couldn't blame him. I was still having trouble believing that I just hugged two of my best friends.

"H-how are you?" He finally stammered.

"I'm fine," I nodded slowly, "you?"

"Great actually," he mumbled distractedly.

"I'm sorry, I'll go now," I blushed as I shoved my things in my bag.

"What? Why?" He asked.

"Don't you hate me?"

"Quite the opposite, actually" he smiled shyly.

I shook my head, "no, you hate me,"

"I don't hate you. I never did. I still.... I still like you, a lot. I always liked you so much." He whispered as he stepped closer to me.
