Closer than we thought

"Wait Lanzon.. Is your mums name Ingrid?" Sam's mum asks
"Yeah.. How did you know?"I ask
"We went to high school together, I was a bridesmaid your parents wedding!"she explains

Sam's POV
"Wait what really?!"I say in shock
"Yes really! You two used to be best friends! I didn't even know they lived in this area!" Mum says
"Wow small world!"Chris says uncomfortably "Well I should get going"
"Oh Chris, out of all people I'm glad you're with Sam, her ex was a total dickhead!" Mum says laughing
"Mum can we please not bring up Charlie right now!" I roll my eyes
"Sorry sweetie" mum apologies
"Ok well bye I'll see you tomorrow Sam" Chris hugs me and walks back to his car
"Aww you to are so cute!" Mum cooes
"Mum seriously!" I reply as I walk to my room and nestle down in bed reading the fault in our stars and I drift of to sleep.
BEEP BEEP
"Ugggh" I groan hitting the alarm clock. I walk to the bathroom and wash my face and tie my hair up in a messy bun. I put on my school uniform and roll my burgundy checked plait skirt a bit so that its just above my knees, I button up my white shirt and put my black school shoes on.

I walk to the bus stop and get on. I sit next to Chris at the back of the bus.
"Hi babe, missed you" Chris whispers in my ear
"It's only been a few hours" I say
"I know" he laughs
"Ugghh TGIF" I say
"Hey Sammy?" Chris says
"Yeah what's up!" I reply
"So my family usually goes on a camping trip on the long weekend which is this weekend, but my mum and dad are going on a business trip and my brothers are hanging out with their girlfriends so I'm kinda alone. Do you want to come camping with me and the guys?" Chris asks leaning his head into mine.
"Ok only if grace comes too" I say
"Well yeah she's considered as one of the guys but a girl version" he laughs
"Wow" I roll my eyes as Jakob and grace and Ethan get on.
"Hey bro ready for this weekend??!!" Ethan half yells
"Yeah I can't believe my parents said yes!" Chris exclaims
"You coming Sam?" Jakob asks
"Hell yeah!" I say as they laugh
"Are you ready for your performance today?" Ethan asks us
"Yeah I'm really nervous though" I say
"Don't worry bout it!" Jakob calms me

"Ok Ethan can you and Gemma perform for me" Redford says motioning for them to go to the front of the classroom. They walk up the front and start to sing an energetic feel good song. I'm just shortening the actual song:

"Ok up next is Chris and Sam" mr Redford says and they walk up to the front and Chris grabs a guitar.

"So we're leaving tomorrow at 6 am so you can sleep over at my place tonight" Chris offers
"Yeah I'll go home and pack then I'll be over" I say
"Or I could come to your place then pack with you and after we can go to my place because my parents left this morning so it won't be a problem" he gently whispers in my ear
"Yeah that sounds good" I whisper back
We both get off at my stop
"See you guys tomorrow!" Chris and I wave
"Bye!" They wave back
We walk inside and see my brother back from his holiday with his girlfriend. He was twenty which made him 4 years older than me
"Hey you're back!" I run over to him and he gives me a bear hug
"How was Hawaii?" I ask
"It was awesome! Olivia had a blast!" Jordan says. Olivia is his girlfriend.
"Whose this?" Jordan asks gesturing to Chris
"Um this is my boyfriend, Chris" I explain
"Nice to meet you" Chris and Jordan shake hands
"Hey you were on the X factor right?" Jordan asks
"Yeah that's me" Chris says
"Well I'm going to go pack" I say as Chris follows me
"Wait were are you going?" Jordan stops me
"Oh I'm going camping with Chris and some other friends" I explain
"Oh ok" He says disappointedly
"I'm staying at Chris' place tonight but we can hang out when I get back ok?" I ask
"Yeah have fun don't do anything stupid!" Jordan smirks. Jordan was always overprotective, especially with my ex boyfriend, Charlie. Jordan and Charlie never got along. Jordan always thought I was going to get into trouble with him.
Chris and I walk up stairs. I pull out my duffel bag and threw some clothes. I got one of my cute bras and threw it at my bag.
"Seriously?" Chris picked it up like it was a dirty old sock
"Put that down!" I laughed
I quickly finished and said goodbye to Jordan and mum and we walked back to Chris' house.
