I've been in Queensland for one week and I am miserable. I haven't been out of my room except for food. I have no friends and the only person I talk to is grace. Chris won't stop texting me and it's driving me nuts. I'm trying to get over him and those little texts remind me that he is still there. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket an I pull it out to read the message.

Chrissypoo: Sam

Chrissypoo: Sammy

Chrissypoo: pls reply

Chrissypoo: I miss you

Chrissypoo: baby talk to me

Chrissypoo: We can work things out

Chrissypoo: I love you so much

Chrissypoo: pls reply

Christopher: I'm sorry

I'm getting really tired of this. I block his number.

Chris's POV

I try one more text but it says that I'm blocked. She blocked me. The love of my life blocked my phone number.

I curl up in an even tighter ball on my bed, hugging my knees and rocking back and forth, tears threatening to spill out of my eyes.

My phone starts to ring and I instantly pick it up. "Sam?" I ask frantically.

A loud sigh comes through from the other end, "nah, it's Ethan."

"Hey," I reply dryly.

"Bro, you need to get over her" he says making my blood boil. I try not to take it out on him since it's not his fault and he is trying to make me feel better.

"I guess" I mutter.

"Let's get you wasted" he say, I can tell that he's smirking.

"Why did we come again?" I groan.

"To get you over this breakup!" Ethan slurs.

"Shots!" Jakob yells and passes them out to all of us.

I look around the dimly lit club, neon signs hanging on the walls, the beat of the music pulsing through the ground.

I take the shot in my hand and drink it, the smooth liquid burning as it passes down my throat.

I know tomorrow I am going to feel like shit. But then again, I would feel like shit anyway.

Sam's POV

5 more minutes before my shift is over. I keep glancing at the clock that doesn't see to be moving fast enough.

"Hey Sam, me and a few mates are going down to the pub tonight if you want to come?" Liam, my co worker offers.

I smile, "yeah sure, I'd love to!"

"Cool we can leave now since no one is here," he tells me

I take off my apron change out of my uniform before walking out, Liam locking the cafe door behind us.

We get in his car and drive for a few minutes. I turn the radio on and my heart stops when I hear Chris's voice. "I love this song!" Liam beams

I quickly change it and Liam sends me a glare. "Why did you change it?"

"It doesn't matter" I mutter, crossing my arms across my chest.

"Tell me" he nudged me

"That's my ex, we broke up a week ago" I tell him
