As we got off the bus, there were a crowd of people there to welcome us. Some were flying because there were too many people. How do you fly? I want to go to school now. So I can learn how to fly! Wait. But why are they all here? New people come in every day. They can't be doing this every day

Oh... Hannah's parents rule Feather Ville? So they are like King and Queen? Oh. She never told us that! So they wanted to see the princess. Hannah said that she had made friends with me and Kelli.

Hannah followed her parents and we were taken to a nearby orphanage. The people there were quite friendly but some were jealous because we were friends with the 'princess'. The caregiver said her name was Mary.

'You are Kelli and Nina aren't you? Follow me. I'll take you to your beds.' There were rows of beds in nearly every room. We were in room 5 where there was an empty bunk bed. It was still 4:30pm and so we didn't get into bed yet. We unpacked our bags. All we had in them were clothes and books.

'Hello,' I said. Looking around at everyone.

'Hey, so you're Nina?' One of the boys said.

'I like that name,' a small boy said. He had only arrived at the orpahanage two weeks ago.

'Hi, said another girl, 'my name is Lucy and I've been at this orphanage for two years now. But you've only just arrived, welcome to the Room of Glory! That's what we call this room, room 5.'

'Thanks. Why are you not flying though? Isn't this Feather Ville?' I asked Lucy, confused.

'Oh, we're told not to do it indoors but people do it anyway. But you most certainly can't do it here. And you have to learn how to fly, of course. Do you two want to play a game?'

'What can we play?' Kelli asked.

'We can play sharks. I'll explain how to play...' Lucy explained the game to the two of us while the others in 'The Room of Glory' looked at us expectantly and nodded vigorously.

'Okay, let's play!' We played Sharks for a long time until Lucy realised it was 6pm, dinner time. We rushed downstairs and got our trays and the lunch ladies served our dinner. We walked cauriously back up to our room so as not to drop our trays.

We talked the whole time while we were eating, me, Kelli and Lucy. 'We'll be going to school next week. Where are you going? I go to Robin Manor. Most of the orphans here do.'

'We're both going to Robin Manor too. Hannah is going to St Skye's.'

'Hannah? St Skye's? That's the best school in the whole of Feather Ville! It costs a lot to go to that convent school.'

When we finished eating, we took our trays back downstairs and staggered back up the stairs. I climbed into bed, WANTING to go to school. But I still didn't forget about Tina.
