When I was about 11 I was spending the week with my cousins in the summer. It was sort of tradition for every summer. Anyways I have two cousins, Ally and Karen (names have been changed). Ally is my age while Karen is a few years older. Anyways, Karen was having a sleepover with a friend of hers while me and Ally were watching some chick flick. When the movie ended, me and Ally heard our door opening and closing.

Figuring it was her sister, Ally went to Karen's room and told her to stop trying to scare us. Karen and her friend said they didn't do anything and to go away. So Ally and I went back to her room, but then we heard whispering that seemed to be coming from her bathroom. Now, Ally and Karen's bathroom are connected so Ally went and told Karen to stop again. Karen said she did nothing and was getting annoyed at our games. Then when Ally and I came back, we heard whispering again but it seemed to be coming from under her bed. We both ran downstairs to the living room holding each other. Then, we just froze there.

We both had this weird feeling of being watched. We decided to sit on the sofa and we fell asleep there for the night. Around 4 in the morning we both heard the most disturbing laugh we'd ever heard. I knew it wasn't just me cause Ally woke up at that exact instant. We rushed to the corner of the room cradling each other. Finally, I started praying in my head for God to save me. We were both on the verge of crying. Finally Ally said it was probably Karen so we went upstairs and went into Karens room to find Karen and her friend asleep. We knew because Karen snores and it's hard to imitate her snore when awake. Nevertheless, Ally woke up Karen and told her to stop making noises. Karen got really mad and said she didn't do anything. Then she kicked us out of her room. Me and Ally went back to her room, terrified of every noise. Eventually we fell asleep again on her bed.

It was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. Me and Ally don't talk about what happened, even 3 years later. However, ever since that incident I've always had this feeling of someone being next to me. They haven't hurt anyone yet, but they sure scared me and Ally out of our pants. I'm just glad I wasn't alone when this happened.
