At thirteen years old, "Did you know about your mommy having lung cancer?" The doctor watched with shocked eyes as Sabrina shook her head. "She had no clue and you might as well leave her like this..?" The doctor whispered to Claire. A little more louder then usual, though. Sabrina could hear it just fine.
"Did you know about your dad being gone June 17th, 2007..?" The detective too, was shocked as Sabrina shook her head. "You leave your home with a group of cops and you don't even tell your daughter? How could you leave her like this?" The detective argued with Gray. He tried his best to be quiet but Sabrina could hear it just fine.
People make promises all the time, then they turn around. They break them.

Sabrina looked up, staring at a large shard of glass hanging from a thread. Her body was on a sort of pressure plate. Move and die. That sharp feeling on her back was still there, from when that misty figure was there. Who would take care of Lily? She recalled Lily one time she was all alone, the poor thing rampaged the whole house. A creak from the dark room rang and Sabrina jerked her head to the source of the sound.
"Sabrina..." A raspy voice called out to Sabrina. She scooted away from the sound and the shard lowered itself. It started glowing a faint purple. She was almost entranced by the mysterious shard of glass but focused on the dark figure approaching her. "The blood of your ancestors beckons you..." The voice spoke clear and dark. "Ancestors?" Sabrina questioned what this, obviously, untrustful kind of person would know about her at all. "Your ancestors have done, unworthy things." The man's voice got more sinister as he spoke. The wispy figure turned on the lights and it was her room. "Why did you-you stab me?" She asked, the spiking pain of my back wound coming back.
"Because... Your future is cursed... It would be better to end it then, pay the price." A black smoke clouded Sabrina's vision as she saw herself in a leather jacket with a plaid crop top with combat boots and skinny jeans. She could never, afford that clothing or the jewelry she was wearing... She saw a hooded man come with a devious grin. "You must marry him... For our family to be restored!" She heard her father's voice. Marry, She thought.
The egotistical-looking groom was wearing a cocky grin as Sabrina disgustingly took his hand and they danced at, her wedding?! I was still wearing casual clothing and we ate off of barely iced cake. This is definitely a nightmare of a future! "That's not it..." Suddenly, the scene rippled and Sabrina was in New York, watching Lincoln Center, being burned?! She frantically looked around, hearing screams of agony as She looked down at an army of, weird, people who looked like they had powers! Something flew and hit her body, knocking it over.
"You are responsible for this dilemma, you must pay... You imbecile!" A tall figure spoke and she had long green wings flapping slightly, making her hover. She held her chin and She noticed how big her stomach was. "The poor young one will have to suffer!" The woman had sharp claws and Sabrina screamed a blood curling scream as She was brought back to reality. "That will be your end... In 2025, the world will be over run with enemies you could never think of... And you can defeat them." Sabrina stared at the misty figure and snorted of laughter. "Oh, I'm not any superhero! P.E is my enemy! I think you have the wrong-" Sabrina suddenly glanced up at the shard lowering quickly, piercing some of her head. "Eek! Look, I'm not what you call, 'someone who is a hero'. I'm a poor soon-to-be orphan."
"You are more than you think... Will you accept this putrid future or,... A better one." The misty figure held up his right palm and a purple fire crackled. The shadowy figure waited for her response. "A-a better future?" She asked eerily. "Yes... You will need to pay the price, or accept a prize." Sabrina furrowed her eyebrows, wondering if it was a riddle. "O-ok then... I will accept the prize." Sabrina reached out for the figures hand and a jolt of electricity raged throughout her whole body. She jerked upwards, on the floor. Lily was licking her mouth. "Aw, come on!" Sabrina shooed Lily, Lily prancing out the door like a Shetland pony.
Sabrina stood up and walked out the room and hit her hip on a doorway corner. "Mmph! Son of a-!" Sabrina's hand bursted with purple flames and her hand was crisp. "Ow! What was that?!" Sabrina growled. She stared at her burned palm and put ice on it. She laid on the couch and watched TV. She heard her door open and looked back to see Cassidy. "Hey Cass." Sabrina murmured. Cassidy walked up to the couch and laid next to Sabrina. "What's with your palm?" Cassidy asked, touching it slightly. Sabrina shrugged and replied, "I think the heater just blew a spark and it hit my hand." She nodded uneasily and watched the show in the TV.
