First Person POV {Skylar Wolfe}
I woke up to Cassidy sizzling something in the cheap plug-in stove on the kitchen counter.  I dragged myself out of be- couch, and heard a large crash. "Get down!" Cassidy shrieked. A large beam of light shone through the city and I fell down.

"What the freaking-fracker! What is that?" Cassidy asked, her face forming into an worried expression. "I hope nothing bad..."

I dressed in a long sleeved black crop top with overalls. I put on black and white striped socks with some random jeweled cowboy boots. Then I tied my hair in an messy bun and put on a fake tiara on my bun.

"Your feeling girly today?" Cassidy snickered. I shrugged in response and listened to the TV. "A beam of light terrorizes the city this morning. Everyone is asking, Is this government related? What was that beam? And is it hostile."

I turned off the tv and had some hot pockets Cassidy made. My head jerked to a scream towards the street. A woman was galloping on all fours, wearing a cat ear beanie, a fur collared coat with a sleeveless monochrome shirt and skinny jeans along with heeled knee-high boots and golden claws.

"Ha-ha!" The woman cackled as she chased after a group of teenagers. Wusses. She then faced my house and galloped towards it. Nevermind. I shrieked and motioned Cassidy to go through the back door.

I heard my front door break open and my collar was pulled back. "Go Cassidy!" I screamed as she ran towards Kyle's house. The woman cackled and looked at my scared face. I looked at her treacherous golden eyes and she smirked. "Are you the Raven?" I shook my head. The demon....

The demon said that, I had powers! I focused on her getting knocked to the floor and me escaping. Suddenly a powerful force knocked us both down. Well that backfired... "You are the Raven! Well, since I know who you are, I'm Skylar, Skylar Wolfe!" Skylar showed her sharp teeth and she dug her golden claws into cheek.

A tear escaped my eye as I prepared for the worst. Suddenly, she started shaking and fell to the ground. I saw Kyle with a taser gun with Cassidy behind him. "Thank you!" I hugged Kyle as hard as I can and fist pumped Cassidy. "Sabrina..." Kyle warned slowly backing away.

I whipped my head to face Skylar getting up. I shrieked and suddenly she was held up in mid-air. She struggled in an invisible grip and I watched. "Fr-" I heard the police yell and Skylar fell and was knocked out.

"Are you kids alright?" I mentally rolled my eyes for the officer saying 'kids' but I just nodded my head.

The three of us ate pizza on my kitchen counter and laughed at Kyle's joke. He snarfed down the last slice of pizza and we all just talked.

"So... About this morning." I frowned slightly but just listened. "That lady was like a wolf... No wonder she had a name like that." I nodded in agreement. I noticed something that had been nagging me. That demon said I could save people. Maybe I'm like a superhero. Maybe I just have random powers.

"Guys... I need to tell you guys something, super super crazy." I deadpanned. They stopped and looked at me a bit worried. "I think... I may have, like, uh, powers?" I attempted to explain what I meant. "How do you know? Show us." Kyle asked.

I shrugged and got up. "I suggest you duck..." I warned, them going under the counter. I focused on the faucet behind them and tried moving the knob. Water suddenly started bursting out and I made a chopping motion for it to stop. Instead it started flowing in the air towards me.

"Well that was easy...." I muttered. Once I lowered my hand, it spilled all over me. I growled as Cassidy and Kyle laughed at me and my soaked self. I suddenly turned off the faucet and made fire blow from the faucet. Cassidy screamed as Kyle hid behind Cassidy, screaming like a girl. I bursted out laughing when the fire stopped and I snapped a photo of their faces.

They both rolled their eyes and I saw Cassidy noticed Kyle was holding her hand. She blushed and retracted her hand slowly, probably hoping that he wouldn't notice. "Ha ha... Anyways, I guess you have Advanced Telekinesis." I twirled my index finger and my clothes were dry. I grinned.

"Oh Raven..!" I heard someone sing-song. I motioned for the two to get down. "What?! Did you come back for more?" I asked, not nicely though. I saw Skylar in front of my front door, playing with the broken door knob in her hand.

"Now.. Unless you want all of your little friends dead, hand Tobias over!" I furrowed my eyebrows, not understanding. "Hello? The demon who gave those powers to you, Tobias?" I shook my head. "Well I guess they have to die anyways!" Skylar cackled as waved her hand and they both were lifted up by their necks.

I tried to punch her but she blocked it. I then felt a jolt of electricity in my fingers. Fire.... I snapped my fingers silently while blankly staring at Skylar. "Are you just going to stare at me? I did put in some eyeshadow..." Skylar admired herself as a fire sparked in my hand. I held it up and her eyes widened. I blew it and it exploded, pushing her against the door.

Cassidy and Kyle fell with two heavy thuds and they inhaled exaggerating it. I ran up to them and checked if they were breathing right. "Think you can get rid of me that easy?" I looked back at her and stood in front of Cassidy and Kyle. Suddenly, Lily started barking at Skylar. Skylar growled at Lily and Lily snapped at her.

I grabbed a frying pan from the cabinet and softly closed it. They both kept snapping at eachother and I threw the frying pan at her head. She was knocked out cold. Lily panted and waddled out of the room. "Uh... What do we do now?" Kyle asked.

"Cass, do you still have room in your basement for an extra guest?" I smirked and Cassidy giggled.

-

"What... Wait." Skylar looked around the room. There were cats everywhere. Absolutely, everywhere! Skylar groaned, seeing a tag with her name on it labeling her food bowl. "Why me?" She cried out.
