{Not-So-Much of a Break Day}
Sabrina had nightmares, one too many. She laid awake in the morning, on the verge of tears. Her eyes were puffy every morning, bloodshot from lack of sleep. Cassidy always worried for her and Sabrina discarded the sadness and put on a smile every time she went outside.She started visiting her mother more since her father was accused of discussing plans of escape with Sabrina because of her whopping number of visits. She saw her mother sleeping, her head covered in a purple beanie with a shape of a bird, a raven.
"Hi mom... Guess you're a fan of pretty much, me. I hope I give you hope." Sabrina whispered to her mother, sleeping peacefully. The IV droned her heartbeats and Sabrina held onto her hand and caressed it. She watched her mother's eyes flutter open. Sabrina smiled and quickly turned into the Raven, casually resting on the chair besides the hospital bed.
"Excuse me? I didn't know you were... Are you the Raven?" Her mother smiled at her and Sabrina cleared her throat and spoke with a deep voice, "Yes, I am the Raven. I came to visit, a dearest friend of mine has asked of me to surprise you." Sabrina smiled inside at her mother's happiness that she was there. "Did Sabrina do this? That's so sweet of her... Tell her I miss her so much..." She nodded her head and responded, "Of course, Mrs. Marcus, are you aware that you are the lucky patient in this hospital to get an autograph fr-" She immediately took off her beanie and gave it to her.
Sabrina read her mother's mind and saw how she's always wanted an autograph from her. Sabrina smiled and signed the beanie with a metallic purple marker and rested it back on her mother's head. She kneeled down and hugged her. "I'll always be there for you..." Sabrina whispered in her mother's ear, a tear escaping her eye. Her mother smiled and waved goodbye to Sabrina as she walked out the door.
Once she went down the hallway, all of the hospital staff gathered around her and asked for autograph. Turns out the public adored the Raven and started producing merchandise, including the beanie, doll, and even a Barbie figure!
When Sabrina escaped the hospital, she teleported back to her home to find Kyle and Cassidy leaning in on each other. Sabrina immediately got her phone out and took a picture of them kissing. She giggled hysterically while Cassidy gasped and tried to delete the picture, posting it on the Internet by accident.
Kyle blushed and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "You guys are SOOOO cute!!" "Kyle is mine, ya idiot!" "No he's mine! Try me mate!!" "Oh I WILL!!" "I call hax on ur rel8tionship!!" Comments flooded in the first three minutes of the post being uploaded.
Cassidy held hands with Kyle and explained the whole incident to the hysterical Sabrina. She secretly started making ship names for them and Kysidy was the best one yet.
Sabrina sat alone at home on Saturday and logged onto her laptop. "Gerald City" she mumbled to herself. She clicked the 'enter' button and results showed up with the recent villains and The Raven. She typed in Tobias the Demon and it only showed Divergent books on Amazon. She yawned in boredom and logged out.
Sabrina put on a grey sweatshirt and some sweatpants along with some grey uggs she got for her birthday. She glanced at her sweatshirt in the mirror, "I twirl on them haters" it read. She really didn't have that many people who hated her. Well, as a superhero, not that many, As a student, she was hated for having an average life when her parents were not even living with her nor get to see eachother for more then twenty minutes.
Kyle and Cassidy visited and gave Sabrina a beanie boo unicorn as a 'friendly gift' for all she's done. She smiled and plopped on her couch, hugging the unicorn and drooling on the couch. Lily sat in pet bed and mimicked Sabrina's position and too fell asleep.
Sabrina woke up to the news explaining a hostage situation in Gerald City National Bank's safe. "Two gunmen were spotted inside the bank, moving people at gunpoint into the offices of bank tellers. Police have found radiation of a possible c-4 tied to one of the hostages. We have been told by escaped eye-witnessed that the Widely-Known Forrester family's son, Kyle Forrester, may be a candidate of the c-4 tied hostage....."
"Kyle!" Cassidy stopped at Sabrina's doorstep with tears stinging her eyes. "I'll bring him back safely..." Sabrina said uneasily and transformed into her uniform. She drove her car to a fast food restaurant near-by and ran past civilians. "It's him! The Raven!" "Oh my god! It's a her, excuse me!" Sabrina looked through the minds of the people in the bank. "I'm hungry!" Kyle's voice whined in her mind and she smirked.
She stealthily crept to the property and watched the police motion her to go through the door. Sabrina glanced at the shattered glass and heard a faint repetitive beep. She followed the sound and saw all the hostages in the office with duct tape tying them together. They were in a circular position and duct tape covered all the desperate hostage's mouths. In the middle of the circle, Kyle squished with the c-4 duct taped to his chest. His eyes widened when he saw her and he struggled when Sabrina started walking into the office.
A trip-wire set off and an alarm went off. Sabrina frantically turned around and a misty figure punched her to the opposite wall. Dust scattered around the office and Sabrina winced while getting back up. She looked up and the dark figure was, Tobias....
