CHAPTER 10

After receiving Summer's reply about how to get to the karaoke house. Yuri changed into skinny jeans and a shirt and left her dorm.

When she got to the karaoke house, the guy at the counter told her that the person she's looking for rented room number nine at the second floor. When she got nearer to the room, Yuri was expecting to hear someone singing but instead heard female voices shouting

Looks like a fight started even before Yuri got there. What happened was, Brenda drank and continued singing and the others continued to drink. With the influence of alcohol and the already present irritation they have for one another, Kristen let out an insult which of course Brenda didn't take. That resulted into even more insults. Tasha joined in, Summer backed Kristen up, Toby and Amber couldn't control them anymore and all hell broke loose

"That's it! I'm going to break your fucking face!"

When Yuri heard that, she quickly entered the room with the intent of stopping the fight before it goes worse. Yuri stood at the doorway but with her new haircut, they didn't recognize her right away and the fight continued

Tasha, out of severe annoyance, threw the microphone at Summer. She missed Summer but hit Yuri dead on the face

Yuri let out a scream which stopped all the chaos. Tasha, thinking that she hit a stranger, quickly went to the doorway but on the way, she tripped on the wire of the microphone, lost her balance and fell forward. Yuri caught Tasha and both fell on the floor. Tasha slightly on top of Yuri

Tasha groaned in pain and used her arm to slightly lift herself up then she looked at the person slightly under her. Yuri groaned in pain as she lifted her head, blood was dripping from her right cheek from the microphone that hit her

Yuri touched her cheek and looked at the blood on her fingers then turned to the girl in front of her, "Are you okay?" Yuri asked Tasha

Tasha didn't answer instead she just stared at Yuri and felt her chest tighten and blood flowing to her face

The others quickly gathered at the doorway to see if they were alright, they all stared at the two persons on the floor, until Summer spoke

"Yuri?" Summer reacted as she stared at the girl lying on the floor

Yuri looked up to her and smiled. Brenda then helped Tasha get up then Kristen pulled Yuri up

"Is that really you?" Kristen asked, looking intently at Yuri

"Yeah, um, can I get a tissue? I'm kinda bleeding here"

"Oh yeah, right"

Kristen and Summer looked around the room for a tissue, with Toby and Amber helping them

"Here" Tasha spoke handing her handkerchief to Yuri. Although she was handing her the handkerchief, for some reason Tasha can't look straight at Yuri

Yuri took the handkerchief, "Thanks" and put the handkerchief on her cut cheek

"Are you alright Yuri?" Amber asked

Yuri nodded, "just a scratch"

"This is your fault Tasha!" Kristen spoke with a blaming tone

"Hey, don't go blaming this on me, you're the one who started this" Tasha retorted, "I knew it, this is impossible" she then turned to Amber, "I'm sorry Amber, I tried but they are just getting on my nerves, so I'm gonna leave before my urge to punch them get the best of me"

"Wait! I'm going with you Tasha" Brenda spoke, "I'm sorry Amber"

"We're leaving too" Kristen spoke, then turned to her brother "I told you Toby, this isn't going to work out"
