CHAPTER 29

Tasha and Yuri now officially a couple, acted normally around each other at campus but sometimes, their feelings get the best of them. They were often seen together going on dates, eating lunch together, going in and out of each other's dorm rooms and on some occasions being all lovey-dovey with stolen kisses and hugs.

So in only a few weeks, it became a huge buzz around campus that the queen bitch and the transfer hottie were an official couple. It was kind of a big deal since they were known to be enemies at the start of the school year. Some were indifferent, those who have crushes on them were both annoyed and jealous but most were amazed and happy that the once enemies found love in each other.

Summer was running through the corridor, catching her friend just a few moments after she left her class

"So, is it true?" Summer asked as she walked next to Yuri, who was on her way to the student lounge, "You two are official now?"

Yuri turned to her friend and showed a knowing smile, "things sure travel around in this place"

Summer smiled ever so brightly, "How long have this been going on?"

"A few weeks now actually"

"A few weeks?! And I've just known about this today?" Summer gave her friend small pinches on the arm, "why didn't you tell me, you secretive little shit!"

"Okay I'm sorry! stop with the pinching!" Yuri moved slightly away and raised her left hand, "I didn't tell you right away because I knew you'd find out eventually"

"And?"

"And people can be nosy & will butt in on the details of our relationship. I want her all by myself even just for a few weeks. She's mine and I want to have "us only" time as long as possible"

"Ugh you're so in love with her it's actually grossing me out" Summer joked, showing a fake disgusted expression

"You're just jealous 'cause my girlfriend is hot" Yuri giggled at Summer's "WTF-as-if" face, "okay, I got to get to class, talk to you later"

"See you icky love bird!" Summer giggled

Just after Yuri left, Summer bumped into Tasha, "Hey, it's the other icky love bird" joked Summer with a happy expression

"I take it that Yuri told you" Tasha looked at Summer with a raised eyebrow and smirk

"The campus told me, she just confirmed it. So I guess, congratulations!"

Tasha laughed, "Thank you. Actually though, I was looking for you"

"Really now? Why?"

"I kinda need your help with something, if it's okay with you of course" Tasha spoke with a hint of shyness

"Okay, I am getting overwhelmed with your friendliness here but I will help you"

"Thank you so much" Tasha smiled brightly "Walk with me and I'll tell you the details"

Summer nodded and the two started to walk, "by the way, you friendly smiling at me is so new to me, I can't believe it's actually happening"

"Well, let's just say Yuri influenced me a lot"

"Clearly and thank goodness she did. No offense"

Tasha just shook her head and smiled, Summer isn't that bad of a company after all

"YOU'RE CRAZY!!" Toby yelled furiously, "I WON'T DO THIS!!"

"C'mon Toby, it's easy as pie. Just a little bit of acting will do the trick"
