As You Are (Kim Taehyung Story)

Chapter 8

"Ah, did I woke you up? I'm sorry. I just got up to get some water" It was Taehyung.

"It's okay. Do you need anything else? I'll help you get it. Oh! It's a good thing that you woke up too because I need to apply the cream on you"

Taehyung nod his head and sat in front of me while I sat on the sofa. His lips was slightly pouty and he had his eyes closed as he was still half asleep. Slowly, I applied the cream onto his face. His skin was actually really soft, if you touch the part where there's no rashes. I didn't realised how close my face was with Taehyung's until he suddenly opened his eyes. I stopped for awhile because he was staring right into my soul. Okay if this was in a drama, this is the part where they will end up kissing. But no, that's not going to happen. I continued applying the cream and ignored him still staring at me. 

"Okay all done!" I snapped him out of his daydream or should I say midnight dream. 

"Thank you. I just realised that I was staring at you"

"Yeeeeep, glad you realised that. And, you didn't even try to deny it" It made me laugh how straight forward Taehyung is. He wouldn't even try to ignore the fact or try changing the subject or something like that which was cute. 

"Goodnight! Sleep well. Thank you once again, for taking care of me"

"No problem. Goodnight!" and I then went into the room. I felt weird sleeping in his room. Like legit, in a guy's room. But I was too sleepy to care. 

The next morning, I woke up to triple text from Jooheon. 

Jooheon: Hyejin, where are you? Why are you not at home?

Jooheon: Where did you go?

Jooheon: I'm outside your house but no one is answering the door.

I looked at the time and was shocked to see that it was already 11am.  I totally forgot that I was suppose to go to the library with Jooheon and we had planned to meet at 9am. I rushed out of the bedroom and out of the house, totally without thinking about anything. Jooheon was sitting outside of my house door and was definitely shocked to see me coming out of Taehyung's house. 

"What? Why did you came out from his house? Why weren't you in your own house?"

"Long story, Jooheon"

"Oh yeah, long story that you couldn't even drop a text to tell me that you'll be at his house for whatever the reason is"

"I'm sorry.."

"You know, that I really don't like it when you go over to other guy's place. You know how dangerous it could be"

"Ohmygod Jooheon?! Its just literally a door away from my house! What is wrong with you?!"

"Ah yeah, a door away from your house is still, away from your house and plus, its just the two of you!!"

"You're reacting worst than my mum and she's then who asked me to"

"Well, I'm not your mum and I do not like you sleeping over at other guy's house"

"It's Taehyung and you know him and he just needed my help!"

"I am just protecting you from being hurt over and over and over again. I'm telling you, I do not want you to be at his house ever again"

"LEE JOOHEON! What is wrong with you!?" Jooheon just stomped off without looking back. I groaned in frustration and turned around to see Taehyung standing by the door. He was in his white puma sweatshirt and sweatpants and his hair was wet as he just finished bathing. I'm guessing that he heard everything as he looked as stunned and serious. 

"I'm sorry if you heard everything"

"It's okay. It's my fault anyway. Shouldn't have asked you to stay over. Didn't know Jooheon would be so against it" Taehyung looks upset too.

"No its just that, Jooheon has been taking real good care of me after my last break up. Maybe he is just too used to me not being around any other guy except for him" I sighed loudly. 

I went back into Taehyung's house to grab my stuff. "I'll be back" I said before leaving for my house. After bathing, I tried calling Jooheon many times but he just kept ignoring my phone calls. But is it my fault? I mean, it's been long since I last sort of have "something" going with a guy and plus, Taehyung is sick. Is it wrong to take care of him? I shook my head and went out to find Jooheon.

As expected, I found him at the park, where we would usually be when our hearts are not at eased or something went wrong. 

"What are you doing here? Go back" His voice was stern.

"Look Jooheon, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset or anything but I really don't get why are you so upset?"

"You really wanna know why? And don't even think that it's because I have feelings for you because that kind of things only happens in dramas okay"

"Geeeez, what a way to make me feel better"

"Okay honestly, the reason why I got so upset and caught up is because..."
