Toni's point of view

I hear my mother scream my name trying to wake me up for my first "great" day of senior year. As if! I sigh as I hear my youngest sisters small footprints hit the wooden floor indicating she is running towards my closed door, thank God I locked i-

"Toniiiiiiiii!!!" A small seven year girl suddenly flings herself onto a grouchy Toni instantly crawling towards her face that is twisted up in frustration. "Mommy said get upppp!!!"

Toni groans sitting her energetic sister beside her "Tamar why the heck are you yelling I heard mom the last ten times" she glances at a pouting Tamar who instantly catches a attitude.

"Ohhhh I'm telling mommy, mom!-" a hand is quickly placed over her mouth muffling her from speaking.

"I will give you some candy if you shut up" she says to her youngest sibling removing her hand after Tamar nods slowly.

Tamar smacks her lips jumping out of the cozy bed "lollipops and chocolate will be greatly appreciated" she skips out leaving a baffled Toni.

"Little snitch" she mumbles finally getting up to take a shower.

As I'm walking to the shower my twin brother Mikey sprints pass me closing the door in my face. Omg you have got to be kidding me! I bang on the door sighing as he chuckles loudly.

"Mikey Braxton open the door!" I say banging on the locked door.

Mikey turns the shower on laughing evilly "I'm sorry shortie you have got to be quicker then that!"

Toni stomps her feet whining "Mikey pleaseeee I will give you anything you want" the door quickly whips open revealing a smirking Mikey.

"Anything?"

"Anything" Toni says smirking.

He looks up clearly thinking hard about it then his face lights up "I want... Janet's and Taraji's number."

Toni sighs nodding her head "fine" she shoves him to the side walking past him into the now steamy bathroom " but just because you got their number doesn't mean they are gonna answer your call genious" she slams the door in his shocked face laughing to herself.

Toni's point of view-40 mins later

I look at myself in the mirror one last time fixing the small wrinkles in the pale yellow dress. Ugh I hate it but my father won't let me wear nothing else besides this. I check my old watch while walking down the worn out stairs, I have ten minutes to eat before Janet gets here to walk with me to school like she gave been doing since I moved here in fourth grade. As I walk into the leaving room I see my siblings and mother sitting at the breakfast table shoveling food into their mouths, they don't have to be up as early as me and Mikey because they are homeschooled my dad wanted us to be homeschooled but my mom insisted we had the public school experience, which I greatly wish she didn't want. My mother smiles at me coming over with a plate of food that I know I want have time to eat.
