Ever since I woke up in the candy hospital in my sister kingdom I felt like I have I forgotten to do something, yet I don't know what. Is it kingdom related, is a personally matter, did I leave something unfinished in my lab; just thinking about the matter made my head hurt. Me, being in this hospital didn't worry me, it was how long I was going to be here that worried me the most. Peppermint maid; my most trusted adviser is in charge of the kingdom till I feel better, but it won't be long tell the lemongrabs find out and try to take my position as queens of the candy kingdom; again.

As I laid in my bed, letting my pink hair fall in front of my eyes. I watched the sunset from the candy walls. Debating if I should leave my room, and look around the castle or remain in here in silence.

As I argued with myself I didn't notice someone come in. "Barnaby?" a deep voice whispered interrupting my thoughts, I turned to see that it was none other than my sister's boyfriend who was standing by the door frame. "Yes, but I would prefer if you would call me Gumball, only my sister is allowed to call me by my first name." I stated, he let out a soft chuckle while running his hand though his ravened colored hair. "Alright Gumball," he said putting more emphasis on gumball "I was wondering if you needed anything?" he asked leaning against the door. I looked at him curiously before nodding in understanding of his offer. "No I'm fine." I responded looking back out the window "Hmm, you sure? I mean you haven't asked for assistance nor have you asked to see your sister." He stated walking towards me. Why does he care, it's not like this guy knows me or anything?

Letting out a yawn I turned on to my side towards the wall. Forgetting that I wasn't in the room alone, I didn't realize that I wasn't until I heard footsteps come near me. I shut my eyes and tried my best to pretend to sleep, "You always did love sunsets, especially when your stressed they always seemed to calm you down." A voice said as they pulled the curtains blocking out all light that came from the outside. It wasn't long until I felt soft lips on the side of my head, "Night, Bubba." and that he left.
