"What the hell Marshall?!"

'Fuck, she found out.' Marshall sat up from his bed while Marceline tried her best to be as calm as she could be. "What the hell is wrong with you Marshall, why are breaking up with Bonnie? What's wrong with you? You know she's been calling you like crazy. Why the hell are you here sleeping in bed like it doesn't matter?!"

Marshall looked at her solemnly and ashamed. Marceline released that, maybe she had went a little overboard, yelling at her cousin, seeing how his current condition was. She backed a couple of feet away from the sadden vampire before her.

"Why..." He choked out, trying not to cry. "Why what?" Marceline snapped, trying to understand the situation before her. "Why did she make him forget me?"

"How did you?-"

"I overheard you talk to Bonnibel about it. You know, that day when he didn't greet me after his heart attack."

Marceline looked down. She knew that Marshall loved Barnaby, yet was afraid of what people would think of the two. "I get it Marshall, but that doesn't mean that you should text her saying you want to end it. You should tell her why you wish to end things with her."

"How..." Marshall's voice came out raspy now, it pained him to even choke the words out.

"What do you mean, how? Get up and go talk to her."

"That's what I mean, how? How can I look at her when she looks exactly like him? How can I talk to her when her voice just reminds of Barnaby when we were younger? No matter what I think of Barnaby, the only reason I dated her was because I thought that maybe she could fill the empty hole in my heart. Yet, it only made it worse."

Marshall got up from his bed and walked towards his older cousin as he spoke. "Marci... I know you care about Bonnibel in ways that I care about Bubba, but can you please...please talk to her for me."

Marceline stared at him in disbelief. Thinking about for a bit, she then let out a sigh. "Fine Marshall, I'll tell her the reason why, but you need to tell her yourself. She has a right to know and me just telling isn't enough."

Marshall looked up at his older cousin and nodded his headed in agreement. "Thank you so much Marci, I owe you."

'Yeah you do,' Marceline thought to herself. "Whatever, anyway you should go and clean yourself up if your going to talk to her. You should at least look nice." Marceline chuckled a bit, patting his back. Nodding his head, he made his way to his closet, picking out some clothes to wear for later on. Marceline shook her head at the sudden mood change.

"Well I'm heading out to try and fix everything. I'll call you when it's best to come to the kingdom and talk to her."

Marshall nodded his head, thanking her one last time before going into the bathroom to freshen up and prepare.

Bonnibel screamed as she threw her phone at the pink candy wall. Tears poured out of her eyes both from frustration and disappointment in herself. "I knew that this would happen, and I still went along with it. Stupid."

Walking towards her phone, she picked it up. She was still pissed off at Marshall, but mostly at herself. "I always knew he loved my brother months back. Since his coronation, since the fatal heart attack and Marshall asking me if it would be ok if he took care of my brother instead of me."

Groaning, she walked towards her pink bed and sat down on the matching sheets. She looked down at her phone and began looking through pictures of the past. Not the past of her and Marshall; her and Marceline. How much fun they had together when they were younger, when boys weren't even in the equation, just best friends having the time of their lives. As she scrolled, she came across a picture that was taken between the two five years ago. The time when they went camping. Her, Marceline, Barnaby and Marshall.
