Chapter 13 The talk about soul mates

"Pppssssttt Anna" I whisper shout at her I really needed to amuse myself it's too boring just laying here wrapped up in Damien's arms to say it's awkward in his arms is an understatement as much as i feel protected in them it still feels wrong like he isn't anything but a friend or brother.

I hear some rustling and know it's Anna moving to her side so that she doesn't wake Cole up "what's up rose?" She whispers back

"Nothing I'm bored but don't wanna wake the boys what can we do?"

"I don't know I was pretty comfortable before you interrupted me"

"Oops sorry didn't mean to interrupt your lovers cuddle. I'm just really bored and why didn't you remind me it was our party tomorrow night? I've not had time to brace myself for it and quite frankly I'm bricking it now!"

" your not forgiven yet I was so comfortable but I'll think of what you can do to make it up to me soon! And I didn't tell you sooner cause I knew you would freak out once I did exactly like your doing now and I'm sure if Damien's arm wasn't around your waist you'd be pacing up and down while hyperventilating"

Damn it she was right this girl knew too much about me " your right sorry, oh and I almost forgot my mum and dad wanted to speak with both of us tonight about what would happen to us tomorrow I don't really understand it but I just smiled and nodded like usual"

" do you know what time they wanted to speak with us?"

"Nope they didn't say an exact time just around 6:00/6:30 sometime"

"Oh well you do know it's like 6:20 now don't you! We best get these boys up and out so we can chat to your parents sound like a plan?"

"Yup best get them up, ready 3, 2, 1"

Me and Anna jumped up and dropped on top of the boys to wake them up shouting get you fat asses up right now! They didn't have fat asses in fact they had rather nice asses but I wasn't gonna let there ego get any bigger.

Cole woke up first and I could hear kissy noises ewww and in MY bed! But Damien still wouldn't wake up I Tried jumping around and shouting, pulling the covers off of him, pouring cold water on his face but nothing was working time to break the love birds up and get them to help me out. " right you two love birds hope your keeping it PG13 in my bed thankyou very much but I need your help to wake Damien up he's not budging.

" Right cover your ears girls this Is the only way I know how to wake him ready" me and Anna cover our ears waiting for Cole to shout I presume and in the matter of 3 seconds Cole was shouting "FOODS READY" with that Damien bolts up right in search of the food what the heck that was easier than I thought.

Damien turned to the three of us with a puzzled face " why am I wet and where's the food at."

" your wet cause I couldn't wake you so poured water on you thinking it would work it didn't and there is no food unless you go home as I'm sure your tea will be ready about now. me and Anna need to have a chat with my parents so you two need to go" I told him pointing at him and his brother

Okay he muttered while him and Cole got up from the beds and towards my bedroom door with me and Anna following behind them. Once we got to the front door I gave Cole a hug bye and then Damien a hug bye so that Anna and Cole had time to do all that kissy stuff eww pulling out of the hug I looked up at Damien " you still coming to the party tomorrow?"  "Cause I am Rose I wouldn't miss it for the world and I know you want me there anyway I'm your escape goat" he finished kissing my head and then winking at me he was so right if he didn't go I would hate the whole night he was the one I can act stupid with and not care or stuff my face with and not worry about being judged.

Once Anna and Cole had finished doing couple stuff we said bye and shut the door walking to the living room where mum and dad were snuggled up together watching TV they look so cute together.

Hey mum dad what did you want to talk to us about? I notice Skye wasn't home either must be an important talk then... "Well for starters I think you both need to sit down as we don't know how you'll take this information" dad said. Well this just got a little bit unusual I gave Anna a puzzled look shrugged my shoulders and sat down on the floor behind the coffee table. "Okay now we've sat down can you explain now?" "How was your day do anything fun see anyone lately got any girly gossip to tell me?" Mum was trying to go off of the subject now I know what there about to tell us was important very important. "Mum quit trying to distract us what's going on?" She looked down to her lap and fiddled with her hands guess it's up to dad to explain then.

"Right girls I want you both to keep an open mind and know it's all completely out of our control all we know is your both going to be safe and everything will work it's self out okay?" Me and Anna nodded and looked towards my dad for him to proceed " well as you know me and your mum have matching tattoos as do Anna's parents they've asked me to explain this to her the same time I explain to you rose and well the tattoos aren't just any tattoos we get them when we're 18 they appear as if by magic if you wish if not they just appear you feel a burning sensation to begin with where they will appear it can be on the hip, wrist, shoulder, neck etc anywhere on your body it wishes and tends to be black and grey shading have white in it or if your special and have a rank it will have slight colour to it. These tattoos show who your soulmate is. your other half will either have the same tattoo or another part to your tattoo it differs for everyone I can't tell if your going to be special, have a rank or just be normal but what ever the outcome we will always be here for you both. If your special 2 days after your birthday you have to go with the elite squad and receive your place in their boarding facilities, you will have to train, work on any powers you may have or receive if your mate has powers and you choose to stay with them you will get stronger and gain some of their powers too making you both stronger but that is very rare mostly an elite gets paired with someone regular so that the couple aren't too powerful however if your rejected you can find another soulmate if they have lost theirs somehow, you will receive a different tattoo or changes to the old one and it will again be painful. Now Anna I think you may have already found your soulmate and I think that's Cole from what I've seen now I maybe wrong so dont act too rationally or freak out as you girls say and as for you rose I don't think you've met your soulmate however I do think that Damien and Cole will play a big part in your life I just don't know exactly how yet." I looked for any signs that my dads possibly joking but there was no expression on his or mums face that said he was joking only his serious expression I didn't know how to process any of this information I think I need a little time to adjust to it I was so confused right now I turned to look at Anna and her expression read the same as what I was thinking ' what the heck is going on' expression she looked just as confused as what I was feeling all I could think was at least I knew why their tattoos matched now. Well this isn't what I expected to hear in the slightest.
