Chapter 14 Birthday part 1

I didn't get much sleep due to thinking about the chat me and Anna had with my parents last night. I managed to get a total of 5 hours sleep all together driving of into my unconscious state some times having nightmares, dreaming about what's to come and then others were just blank normally I thought my dreams meant something or that they were trying to tell me something but these dreams I had last night made me think I was just being stupid.

It's now 12:30 and I still haven't moved from my bed other that to go to the toilet, I know that if I get up I have to face the reality of it being my birthday and the party later on and I really don't wanna think about that. So I just lay there thinking about random scenarios in my head and watching them play out like I'm actually there that is until Skye burst through my bedroom door. Just great now she will literally drag me out of bed sigh.

"What's up Skye what do you want? If you've come to get me out of bed I wouldn't bother cause I'm staying here all day" I say with a big grin Skye just rolls her eyes "I know you don't want to get up but we all want to see you Rose its your birthday, you've got cards and presents to open please just come down I really want to give you your present" she gives her eyelashes a little flutter and pulls her puppy dog look that she knows I can't say no to "argh okay fine let me get changed and I'll be down stairs in 5. I hate it when you use that look on me to get your own way" with that she turns on her heel and walks out the door.

I slowly prise myself from my bed do a stretch clicking my back and proceed to the bathroom to shower and clean myself up so I look somewhat presentable. I shoved my hair into a messy bun on top of my head as I couldn't be bothered to blow dry it and walked out the bathroom and across my room to my walk in wardrobe I grabbed some black lace underwear and chucked on my black leggings, grey crop top and pink cardigan over the top I checked myself again in the mirror to make sure I looked okay.

I slowly made my way downstairs I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I walked straight into the living room to see my family sat on the sofas I sat down on the lounge chair and pulled my feet underneath me. Skye was the first to give me her present I opened it slowly but she had enough of that and ripped the rest of the paper off herself I didn't mind though one less thing for me I hate everyone's eyes being on me it makes me nervous. Once the wrapping paper was off the present I was now holding a small pandora box I slowly and carefully opened the box to see a gorgeous sister charm for my bracelet I carefully placed the box on the table gave Skye a big hug and thanked her for my present. "I'll be right back I promise I'm just going to grab my bracelet quick so I can put my charm on it oh and I need to get my phone and check it God knows how many messages from Anna I'm going to have" they all smiled at me to acknowledge what I had said as I dashed up the stairs and into my room I grabbed my phone and charm bracelet and ran back down the stairs by the time I reach the front room I was out of breath god I needed to exercise more I sat back in my seat and waited for my cards. Once I finished opening all my presents from my mum and dad as well as presents and cards from the family members that lived to far away I was exhausted and it was already 3:00pm. I got some gorgeous earrings from my mum and dad as well as clothes, shoes, makeup, perfume and loads more I also got money too which I hid in my room so it's safe.

"I'm going to go bed for a little while before tonight" I told my parents " thank you for all my gifts I will see you after my nap love you all lots" I gave mum and dad a kiss on the cheek and Skye another hug as I dragged myself from the living room and up the stairs to my room, I shut the door and fell on my bed letting the covers and pillows surround me as I drifted of into a deep sleep.
