This is my first time publishing something I have written, I have been writing since I was 15, took me all these years, still I am not so very confident, but still feels so good to see that over 100 people have read this.. Thank you once again people.

As Nestle got down the truck he learned that Ginny woke up. He walked into the house with a smile, even though he didn't have any pleasant memories to recall, he was thankful that he had Ginny and that he could build new ones.

"But Aunt Lina, I wanted to go with daddy! Why didn't you wake me up?" Ginny sounded annoyed.

"Aunty didn't wake you up 'cause I asked her to let you sleep in Ginny bee!" Nestle said opening his arms and she flew into his embrace. He could never underestimate the strength of that hug. Ginny wiggled out and asked

"Daddy did you bring me my surprise?"

"When didn't I ever?" Nestle smiled.

"Ice- cream?"

"What day is today?"

"Thursday?"

"And what do we have on Thursdays?"

"Cake!!" Ginny exclaimed.

"And what should we do so that we can eat the cake?"

"We should have dinner first.."

"And that's why you are so very smart my little bubble."

"Sometimes its a curse to be this smart.. " Ginny muttered and Nestle could only smile seeing Ginny throwing her little hand in the air shaking her head and walking away pulling her little trunk.

That night Paulina whipped up a simple dinner after which Ginny was enjoying the cake he had got for her earlier. Nestle couldn't stop thinking about that face at the diner, he knew he had given up his reckless attitude and clearly he didn't have time to entertain any thing other that figuring out, he had to look for a school for Ginny, he had to find out how the lady was doing, no matter what happened, hardly a day goes by that he had not thought about the lady that Rebecca drove over. He couldn't remember the street properly but figuring out this town wouldn't be much of an ordeal. He also had to find out what he could do in this town. He wasn't professionally trained for anything but he learned easily but he wasn't short of money though, in school when his computer teacher saw he had potential above average, and getting to know him a little better, his computer teacher, Mr Patrick Alvin, together they worked to assemble computer available for the less fortunate kids who could pay by rendering services to the school, like working in the library or canteen or shovel ice off the road to school, assembling a group of kids to clean up the beach and so on. Patrick had never said that he had opened an account under his name and deposited an amount every month from the scheme that they initiated. It was when Nestle had said Patrick about the move that he handed him the account details. Nestle was awestruck, here was someone who had thought about him more than anyone in his life and he didn't have anything to do in return. Nestle had started this initiative as he had never wanted anyone to go through what he had went through, changing schools, being mocked by the upper level kids who had it all in silver platter and being there for children who wanted to be responsible. Patrick had tried convincing him that he could be a good school teacher, but he had not been trained to teach and he couldn't be with Ginny when ever she wanted him.
