Zella was in her backyard picking out herbs for the day when she heard the message tone of her phone. She pulled a glove off the hand and shoved the glove into her gardening apron, she took out her phone to check the message. A smile spread across her face knowing it was from him..
" :)" Nestle had send. Zella smiled but she didn't know how to respond to such a message.
"Is that a way to say you are happy? In that case what is the symbol for 'frown face' ? I'm new to all this.. Why do people use it anyway? Why cant they just say if they are happy or sad or angry or whatever.." Zella wrote back.
"You are adorable Zella Connors even though you far faaaaaar faaaaaaar away from civilization, its cute you still keep the stone age alive." Nestle replied.
"What.Ever!" Zella typed back.
"So I just messaged you to let you know that as much as I want and would love to start the day seeing you, I cant today, I promised Ginny I would be there when she wakes up. I'm sorry dear, I will see you soon."
"As much as I try I can't flirt back! So no miss you comments, no hoping to see you soon lines, I am just going to say.. I know you would come anyway, if not to meet you, you would still want to have that tea you are so in love with, so I'll see you when I see you. Take care." Zella typed back.
"Ohhhhhh feisty you :* " 'again with the freakin' symbol' Zella thought as she read.
"what does that stand for?" Nestle laughed when he read.
"A kiss Zella, cant believe I have to explain this."
"I am serious, did you think that one kiss could change my world around and I would sulk the whole day that I wouldn't get to see you? You are wrong mister. This is Zella Connors." Zella was frustrated. Was she that birdbrained to the new age words and symbols! She was not going to let him know that his words were effecting her, she was bend on she was not going to change no matter what!
"If I recall from the vivid memory of last night it was more than one kiss but hey what you are saying that it would take more than one kiss to melt you down?" Nestle wrote back.
"Sooooo NOT what I meant!"
"Either way, challenge accepted!"

"Right back at ya!" Zella typed back in a second
"You mean the ' :* ' ?" Nestle could feel Zella making a disgusted face.
"Please stop air quoting at least while texting!" Nestle read and laughed, he got up and looked at his watch, it showed quarter to six, Ginny always woke up by eight, so he had a lot of time to kill. When he stepped outside the room he saw Paulina was in the kitchen preparing Ginny's breakfast and her lunch pack.
"Morning aunty." Nestle said pecking Paulina's cheeks and sitting on the stool.
"Good morning to you too Nene, this is new, you no go diner now?" Paulina asked taking a sip of her black coffee.
"I promised Ginny I would wake her up so.. I'm here.. Still here.." Nestle said matter-of-factly.
"You look happy." Paulina said placing the sandwich in cling wrap.
"What do you mean, I'm always happy!" Nestle said getting up to retrieve his phone from his pocket, 'no notification' he kept it on the table.
"I didn't hear you come in last night, you came in late? everything okay?" Paulina said filling Ginny's bottle with water.
