"Sometimes all the evidence and everything is against the one you trust the most. But still you don't believe them, you stand by them against all odds..But is it right to do so?

When it comes to the one you love you trust the most, nothing else matters..You don't even believe the things you have witnessed with your senses..May be its the hope that the one you love the most will never betray you.."

Zella woke up that morning in bed cold and lonely. She would have preferred waking up next to Nestle but she knew she was being unreasonable. She had not stopped him when she had a chance and now she had no rights to complain. She dragged herself off the bed and She walked towards the bathroom and after her morning rituals she headed down and refilled her coffee machine with beans and filter and then switched on the machine. Just like many mornings she looked out of the window and always found him waiting for her to open up, but at that moment the streets were lonely and she saw her truck was unmoved, she didn't even say him to take the truck. She pushed aside all the thoughts and got started with her coffee. She couldn't function without her coffee.

She took a sip of her coffee.

"What the fuck!" Zella mumbled in disgust, she looked at her cup and that was when she realized she was really screwed.

she had made herself a cup of tea instead..

Zella muttered few more curse, getting up from her stool and draining the rest of the tea into the sink. She had always been a coffee person and she would never compromise with her daily dose of caffeine for anything in the world. She poured herself a proper cup of coffee and started sipping on it. Her cringed up brows relaxed. This is what she needed.

Waking up alone and then attacking the coffee and morning paper, getting ready for another day at the diner.. Everything was going as per her normal schedule, just like the day before the first time Nestle walked into the diner for the first time. But no matter what she did, the blue eyes came haunting back and now the blue eyes was coupled up with a six year old that she equally yearned to be with.

She shook her head and checked her phone, she swiped through all the notifications, some emails and a few of them were of News around the world, no matter how many newspaper app she had downloaded on her phone, even the worst of news felt better when she read it from the paper. But what she wanted was not there on her phone.. No messages.. No missed calls.. She took a glance at the time and then to the deserted streets. She kept the phone aside then folded the paper and wanted to drain off rest of her coffee but only to find out that she was already done with her coffee.. Ahhh the disappointment! She never liked to refill but she always liked to drain the rest of cup walking towards the kitchen. From the outside she looked all composed and relaxed but no matter what a pair of blue eyes haunted her thoughts, she didn't feel any better, any different.. This was going to be a long day for Zella Connor..

She pumped up the volume for her daily dose of Avril Lavigne and started off with the day.

"I'm better off alone anyway.." Zella sung along with Avril.. Was it true? Was she really better off alone?

Zella shook those thoughts away and got back to work as the orders started pouring in. she had an unusual amount of people at the diner, the town had some sort of festival that Zella wasn't aware of or may be she was informed about but she didn't bother to pay heat to. But whatever the reason was she was glad for the distraction.

When it was a little after noon she was exhausted and it was not just because there people were double than normal and most of them came up to Zella to compliment the food she made. Even her regulars said that the food tasted better than the normal days. She just nodded at what people said but hardly smiled. Normally she cooked for pleasing people but today this was her therapy and she was thankful for they had come to the diner.
