Brice's P.O.V

I walked into class, and almost immediately everyone stared at me. Ugh... I hate being popular. It's so annoying. Sabine was hugging my waist, as usual. I really wish my parents weren't forcing me to date her. I don't even like her! I looked around the class, before my eyes fell on HIM. He wasn't looking at me like everyone else. There was something about him... something that was pulling me towards him, and I don't know what or why. I noticed that I was still standing in front of the class, so I hurried over to my seat.

"Alright class, settle down." Said the teacher.

"For the next two months we will be working on a project."

The whole class groaned, including me.

"Now, now class. This project will be different then all the others. In this project you will be working in pairs."

The whole class started talking excitedly. I wasn't too thrilled, but oh well.

"But that's not what makes this project different. In this project you will be talking about yourself."

I heard a small thump, I looked to the back of the class. It was that boy. He was looking around, almost like he was panicked. Weird.

"Now, I will be choosing the pairs."

The whole class groaned, except for me. I loved it when the teacher chose. That way I didn't hurt anyone's feelings if I didn't choose them to be my partner.

"First will be Mitch and Jerome. Second will be Jason and Tyler. Third will be Ashley and Trish. Fourth will be..."

"And finally Seto and Brice!" I heard a small squeak. I looked at the back of the class. It was that strange boy. He must be Seto.

"Please go sit beside your partner." Since Seto made no movement to come to me, I went and sat beside him.

"Hey. Seto right?" I asked. He looked over at me. I sucked in a breath. His eyes were gorgeous! They were brown with evident purple specs. There was also some silver specs. I found myself getting lost in those beautiful eyes.

"Y-Yeah." He said. I blinked. For a moment, I forgot what I had asked him.

I smiled. "It's nice to meet you!" I said happily.

"Let's get to work, shall we?" I said. He gave a shy nod.

Time skip

We were talking, well I was talking, Seto was listening and nodding or shaking his head at some of my questions. Suddenly the bell rang. Seto jumped up so fast, I thought his hair was on fire!

"Hey Seto! Wait up!" I called out. He froze. He slowly turned around. I caught up to him.

"I was wondering if you wanted to sit with me and my friends?" I asked. He stared at me. Shocked.

"W-Why would y-you want t-to b-be friends with m-me?" He stuttered.

"Why wouldn't I?" I asked. I was pretty confused. Seto seems like a cool guy. Who wouldn't want to be friends with him?

"B-Because I-I'm a-a freak..." He said. I grabbed his shoulders and looked him in the eye. He jumped when I grabbed his shoulders.

"Seto. Never ever, EVER say that about yourself!" I said.

"B-But it's true..." He mumbled quietly.

I shook my head so fast, I thought it might fall off.

"No. None of that shit is true." I said fiercely. I looked him directly in the eyes. "None, of it." I was going to help this boy. He may be broken, but I'll fixed him.
