Seto's pov

"Um.... I choose truth." I said. I was too scared to choose dare. Mind you, truth could end badly as well. Brice looked a bit surprised, but he pouted.

"Awww! I had a good dare too..." He said, pouting. A couple of people chuckled. Brice sighed dramatically.

"Where did you move from and why." He asked. I froze. I couldn't tell them the real reason why I moved! How could I tell them I was being abused?!

"I uh.... Moved from Canada, because.... my dad... got a n-new job...?" I said uncertainly. The guys all looked at me confused. I looked down and shifted uncomfortably.

"Oh." Sky said bluntly. An awkward silence fell over all of us, when suddenly, the phone I had brought rang loudly. Sky and the others visibly jumped in surprise. Sky frowned.

"I thought you didn't have a cellphone." He said.

"I don't. This is my dads old phone that he uses to contact me." I said, forcing my voice not to sound shaky. They all blinked in surprise. The phone rang again and I jumped up and ran to answer it.

I quickly left the room to answer.

Brice's pov

We all watched Seto grab his phone and rush out of the room. We all stared after him in confusion.

"Why couldn't he answer his phone in here? We would've been quiet for him if he asked." Mitch said. Jerome and Jason nodded in confusion.

We were all horribly confused. I quickly stood up and walked over to the doorway. I peeked in and saw Seto with a nervous and slightly scared look on his face.

"B-But you said it was-" He started to say. He was cut off by who I assumed was his dad.

"No buts! You better get home soon, or you'll regret it." He said. Seto froze.

"B-But-!" He tried to protest. His dad hung up and Seto sighed.

"Great..." He mumbled. He looked worried and scared. I frowned in worry. His dad had already threatened him and he actually looked scared. No one should be scared of their own family.

Seto rubbed his eyes tiredly. He started walking towards the door and I quickly ran back to my spot on the floor. They all looked at me, then they noticed Seto coming back. Sky smiled at him.

"What did your dad want?" He asked. Seto blinked in surprise.

"Somethings come up. I gotta head home. Sorry." He said quietly. Everyone looked surprised and disappointed. I stared at Seto with narrowed eyes. I suddenly stood up.

"I'll drive you." I said. Seto smiled at me.

"Thank you Brice." He grabbed his stuff and we left the house. We climbed into the car and I started driving. I couldn't hold it back anymore.

"Why did you lie!?" I blurted out. Seto looked at me in surprise.

"L-Lie?" He stuttered. My grip on the steering wheel tightened.

"I... overheard your conversation with your dad." I explained. Seto blinked in surprise and I saw panic in his eyes.

"O-Oh..." He said, looking away. I pulled over and stopped the car. I turned around and put my hand on Seto's knee.

"Is he... doing anything to you?" I asked quietly. Seto said nothing. I frowned in worry.

"Seto..." I said. He squeezed his eyes shut.

"Take me home please." He whispered. My frowned deepened.

"Seto..." I said again. His fists clenched.

"Please Brice..." He pleaded. I closed my own eyes.

"No." I said. Seto's eyes snapped opened.

"W-What?!" He exclaimed. I opened my own eyes and stared directly into his own.

"I said no. I'm not taking you to a man who is abusing you." I said firmly. Seto stared at me.

"Brice...!" He said. I turned back around and started up the car. His hands went to my arm.

"Brice please! Take me home!" He pleaded desperately. He had tears in his eyes. It broke my heart to see him like this, but I wasn't about to waver. I had made up my mind.

This may be hurting him now, but he'll understand soon.
