Brice's pov
I slammed my suitcase shut. Seto was watching me in concern. We were leaving today. For the past few days, my dad has been yelling at both me and Seto, telling Seto that he shouldn't be alive, that he was a devil, a sin, a faggot. It had been really hard for both me and Seto.
Not to mention, Seto was being harshly bullied because Sabine said that he turned me and that he was a terrible person. I was constantly protecting him, and thankfully so had the rest of Team Crafted. It was so bad, that I was scared to leave Seto alone. Me and Seto had both decided to hang in there until graduation.
"Brice...? Are you... okay...?" Seto asked me. I looked up at him and gave hima tired smile.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Just can't wait to leave." I responded, before returning my attention to the task at hand. I phone buzzed and I picked it up.
Hey Brice. On my way rn. Hang in there.
Awesome. Thx man. Appreciate it. See ya in a bit.
I sighed. Sky was coming to pick us up, and he couldn't get here fast enough. I had four suitcases packed, along with two backpacks. A few days before that, I had made a new bank account, and transfered all my money into it. Even though I didn't like, I was using the money my parents had put in.
I glanced over and smiled at him. He looked at me, and smiled warmly, before standing up and walking over to me. We hugged and Seto placed his head right over my heart.
"Thank you for everything Brice... you've made me so happy... I love you so much..." He mumbled. My eyes widened, before I smiled.
"I love you too." I said, wrapping my arms around him and hugging him tightly. We both jumped when we heard a car honk. I looked out the window and smiled in relief.
"Sky's here. Let's go Seto." I said. We each grabbed a suitcase and a backpack, and walked downstairs. Seto was behind me, and we both tensed when we saw my father there, glaring at us. My mother was behind him, watching us in concern.
"Brice...? Are you really leaving us sweetheart...?" My mother asked. I stared at her with hard eyes.
"Yes. Until both of you can except my relationship with Seto." I said. My mother looked away, while my father snarled.
"Get out of my house you faggot!" He yelled, and pointed at the door. I took a deep breath to calm myself, before walking to the door with Seto. My mother watched us leave with tearful eyes. I knew she respected my choice, and I was thankful for her. When me and Seto get married, she'll definately be invited.
But we had to leave. I don't want to risk living in a house where Seto might get hurt. I don't want him to constantly live in fear! I let Seto go first, and Sky came over and helped Seto with teh bags. They walked on ahead, and I glanced back at my parents.
"Mom. I love you. I'll keep in touch okay? Don't worry. I'll invite you to our wedding." I said. I heard my mother finally let all her tears fall and she let out a wail. I looked at her sadly, while my father made no movement to comfort her, or to apologize to me and Seto. I glared at him, and walked away to the car.
Time skip
"Seto! Can you believe it? We're finally going to graduate!" I said happily. Seto smiled and nodded.
"I'm glad we both got scholorships. I know you want to become an artist." Seto said softly, smiling. I nodded and walked over. I gently kissed him on the head.
