Seto's pov
I sat in Brice's car anxiously. I was mad, but really scared at the same time. I knew, that my dad was going to be mad. Really really mad. I glanced over at Brice but saw that he wasn't even looking at me.
"B-Brice... where are we going?" I asked.
"My house." He replied. I fell silent. There was obviously nothing I could do. I wasn't about to jump out of his car. We continued to drive and a few minutes later, we pulled up beside a large house.
"We're here." Brice said simply. I unbuckled my seat belt. Brice did the same and we got out of the car silently. I could feel Brice watching me, making sure that I didn't run away.
"After you." He said, gesturing towards the front door of his house. I slowly walked over to the door and Brice unlocked it.
"My parents are out on a business trip right now." He said.
"Oh..." I said simply. I looked around and saw a living room that was simply decorated and a staircase leading upstairs. Brice was carring my stuff.
"C'mon. We'll go up to my room." Brice said. He walked towards the staircase and I followed him. He lead my down a hallway before stopping at the last door.
"This is my room." I opened the door and walked in. There was a bed, two bookcases, a desk, a dresser and reading nook. Brice dropped my stuff on the floor near the bed.
"Nice room." I commented.
"Thanks." He said simply. He sat on the bed and I sat on the floor. We sat in awkward silence. I chewed my bottom lip anxiously.
"Y-You know... this could be considered kidnapping..." I said. Brice crossed his arms.
"I don't care. Tomorrow, we are going back to your house and picking up all your stuff. From now on, you are living here." He said firmly.
I looked up at him in surprise. My eyes wide with shock.
"W-What?!" I cried. I couldn't stay here! I had to get back home! I was in enough trouble as it was! Brice looked at me with blank eyes.
"You heard me. I don't want you living with someone who abuses you!" He said. His eyes were filled with determination.
"Brice...."
