Slapped Across The Face (Ch. 13)

Brice's pov

I gripped my backpack tightly as me and Seto walked into school. Lots of people were staring at us strangely, most likely because of Seto's dad. I glanced behind me and saw that Seto was tense, so I reached behind me and took his hand, squeezing it reassuringly. Seto sent me a grateful smile, and we kept walking.

"Good morning class! Today, we will be finishing up our projects, and hopefully you will all present tomorrow!" The teacher said cheerfully. I glanced over at Seto, who was keeping his head down. I noticed, that a lot of students were staring at him, either in pity or jealousy.

"Now, please go into your groups and continue working on your project." The teacher instructed. Everyone started moving around, and I juast turned to the left. I smiled at Seto and we started working on the project.

Half way through class, Sabine walked over and swung her arm around me. I felt annoyance build up, but smiled at her instead.

"Hey Sabine." I said, trying not to grit my teeth. Sabine smiled at me, and pushed her breasts in my face. I pushed her away lightly.

"Hey bae." She said. Seto glanced at her, and frowned slightly.

"S-Shouldn't you be with your partner...?" Seto stammered. Sabine glared at him and huffed.

"Ugh. I can't believe I was partnered up with Jamie. She's such a nerd and she's sooooooo poor I hate her. I mean she's just the worst!" Sabine said. I glanced over at Seto, and he looked furious. What he did next, completely shocked me.

Seto, slapped Sabine.

Quiet, shy Seto had just slapped Sabine.

We both stared at Seto in shock, with Sabine holding her cheek.

"You... You slapped me!!!" Sabine said. Seto glared at her harshly.

"Yeah. And I had every right to do so! You shouldn't judge people just because of the way they look and how much money they have!!!" Seto yelled.

"Seto! Sabine! Explain. Now!" The teacher said angrily.

"He slapped me for no reason!" Sabine said, pointing at Seto.

"She was insulting and wrongfully judging Jamie!" Seto said, pointing at Sabine. They both glared at each other and the teacher scowled.

"I want both of you to go to the principals office. Now!" She yelled. "Brice. You go with these two to keep them out of trouble." She ordered.

I nodded, and we all scampered out.

Time skip

Me and Seto were walking to lunch and personally, I felt that Seto had every right to slap Sabine. Unfortunately, Sabine held a lot of influence over the school, so she wasn't punished. Seto, got detention after school though. Seto was quiet, clutching his books tightly.

"B-Brice? I'm... I'm sorry...." Seto mumbled. I glanced over at him.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked. He bit his lip and sighed.

"I'm sorry for slapping Sabine...." He muttered. I smiled and patted his head. Seto's face turned red when I did.

"It's fine Seto. I think she kinda deserved it anyways." I said. Seto looked up at me, a bit in surprise. He blinked, confusion in his eyes.

"Seto!" We both turned and saw Jamie running towards us.

"Hey Jamie." Seto said with a small smile. "What do you need?" He asked.

"I... I just w-wanted to... t-thank you..." She stammered, her cheeks flushed. Seto smiled softly.

"It's okay. Sabine had no right to say anything like that. Even though I'm gay, I still think you're a pretty cute girl." Seto said with a smile. Jamie blushed.

"T-Thanks Seto..." She stammered. I stood there, staring at them, one thought going through my head.

SETO'S GAY?!?!?!?!?
