Chapter 8

After that whole insane combat test, I was sent to the nurse's office, along with many others, to be treated of my wounds. I sat on one of the beds and looked around. Half of my classmates either were severely injured or.... unconscious. Hey, creepypastas can get a little rough too, ya know. I was surprised to see Doctor Smiley walk in. "You again?" he asked jokingly. I nodded as he began to bandage my wounds. "I heard you went against Jeff Woods out there. That's quite impressive," he paused, "especially since Jeff is one of the highest ranked CPs at this school." This time, I froze. One of the highest ranked, I thought. That's when I realized it, there was no way a low ranked CP, like me, can beat a high ranked CP like Jeff. The answer was clear... Jeff "the killer" Woods let me win. This victory of mine... was by default and I'm certain that everybody else knew it too. I couldn't believe it! Am I that weak to where someone, no, another serial killer had to take pity of me?! Oh god, I felt so... angry, ashamed, and.... embarrassed! I needed to talk to Jeff right away!

I could barely focus in my classes because I was trying so hard not to fall asleep. Yeah, I was still exhausted from the test in PE. I was like this the entire day, my friends asked if I wanted to go home, but I really couldn't.... I needed to see that asshole. My only chance is to talk to him during culinary science. Because of this motivation, I arrived on time to class. He was already sitting at our table. I swallowed my pride and walked to him. He looked up at me, I could have sworn his permanent smile grew larger. "Hey champ." He teased. I became frustrated with this... okay call me a drama queen but I didn't feel right at the time. I sat next to him and crosses my arms still looking at him.

"W-hy d-did y-you..." I began but he cut me off.

"... let you win? I figured someone like you needed, how can I put this, more motivation." What the fuck?! I thought. I faced the front board sulking. Then Jeff touched my hair, " Hey, be grateful I didn't kill you on the spot." he whispered in my ear. I swatted his hand away from my red hair then proceeded to sulk.

I sat on my couch drawing pictures of me and Jeff stabbing each other. I wanted it to be graphic. Bored? The voice asked.

"Y-yes." I replied. I set my sketchbook aside and laid on my back. My eyes began to feel heavy as I continued to stare at the ceiling then I fell into a deep sleep.

It's dark, cold, and painful. I couldn't get up, it was like my body was glued to the ground. My hands and legs felt sticky with a weird liquid substance. I looked up to see a silver light above me. I squint my eyes from the searing brightness then, a black figure blocked the light. I closed my eyes assuming that figure will only cause me more pain.

Thankfully, someone or interrupted my nightmare. I felt a pair of hands shaking me. "Katie," a voice of a female's whispered. I opened my eyes to see Clockwork standing over me. I looked up at her curiosity.

"H-how d-did y-you g-get i-in h-here?" I asked as I sat up.

"Your front door was unlocked." I then noticed Masky and Toby standing by the door. They waved at me.

"W-what's g-going o-on?"

"Relax," Masky said, "Grab your coat. We're taking you somewhere." I slipped into my moccasins and purple jacket then left my cabin with Natalie, Toby, and Masky.

I had no idea where they were taking me and that made me anxious. Just relax pretty child. We walked in the slender forest for about... what felt like thirty minutes. I placed my hands in my pockets and looked down at my feet. "Here we are." Masky announced. I looked up to see the back of the school. I frowned as Clockwork pulled my arm then led me to the doors of the gym.

"Babe," she said, "Can you pick this lock?"

"Sure, picking locks is my thing." Toby said as he walked to the knob. Toby jiggled the clip until he unlocked the door. "It's open." Toby held the door open as Masky, Natalie, and I walked in the pitch black gym.

"Now," Masky said, "Where the hell is the light switch?" I followed the sound of Masky's voice, then I felt something furry brush against my leg. I froze fearing it was a large animal that could attack. Without warning, I fell back with a force of a creature pouncing on me. Then I felt something rough, squishy, and wet rub my face.

"Here it is." Masky announced. The lights flickered on revealing whatever creature was on top of me. Of course, little to my surprise, it was a dog. But it wasn't like any other dog I've seen, it was larger, its skin was a dark crimson, and it had a permanent smile across its face. Like Jeff. Besides it's odd features, it was still a dog. I smiled as it licked me once more.

"I see you met Smile Dog." I heard someone say, I looked up to see Hoodie standing over me. "Smile, off." Smile Dog walked off me then Hoodie helped me to my feet. "Sorry. Smile is always excited to see someone new." I flushed. Smile rubbed his head against my leg once more. I followed Hoodie to the other side of the gym where Toby was holding open what, looked like a door to a cellar.

"Down we go." He said gesturing me to go in. I hesitated at first, then walked ahead. Behind me, I could hear Hoodie and Toby whispering to each other.

"Toby, are you sure that this is a good idea?" Hoodie asked.

"It's only once Hoods. Trust me on this." Toby explained. I couldn't hear the rest of their conversation as I walked deeper into the cellar. I saw a flicker of light at the bottom. I looked back to see more darkness behind me. Toby and Hoodie were nowhere to be found. I felt my anxiety rise as I continued into the cellar. Something was not right, I didn't whether this was some sort of prank or I'm walking straight into danger. Just keep walking. I obeyed the voice. The light ahead of me disappeared leaving me in complete darkness. Before I could turn back, I felt a thick, baggy like object cover my head as two or three pairs of hands grabbed me. I knew right then and there, I was being kidnapped. I struggled to get out if the rough grasps of my kidnapper but they held on tighter. Finally, I gave in and let the kidnappers take me. I felt myself being shoved then I was positioned to stand still. I waited for whatever was coming for me, torture, murder, auction?

I felt the bag pulled off of me. The first thing I saw was a bright light, I squinted until the light dimmed a bit. I can now see dark cloaked figures surrounding me. I swear to you, I thought I was a sacrifice to some satanic ritual. Thank god I wasn't. Under the hooded cloaks, I recognized my friends and classmates from school. What the fuck is going on? I thought.
