Chapter 1

Forgot to mention, SPOILERS FOR JURASSIC WORLD!

He's late! your first thoughts that day had been about your human. He was always on time for everything. Feeding in the upsun, training in the middlesun and a bit of affection in the downsun. It was pretty good. However, leaving the upsun feeding until late was bad. You were hungry. Being the first to wake up in the raptor pack of seven, you always were first to be fed since your hunger was great.

After getting up, you began to pace back and forth. Perhaps he was hurt. No, my human is an survivor. He doesn't care about wounds. He could run from one of us and survive. You growled to yourself, wondering where that human was.

At that thought, a voice came from above the raptors. You looked up to see your human. He stood with a bucket, which you eyed hungrily. Blue headed to the front of the now gathered group, a sign of authority among the raptors. Blue was respected and the oldest raptor in the pack. She'd known your human since before the legend of the Indominus incident. She'd told countless tales of the hybrid and how she and the Tyrannosaurus had worked together to fight off the I-Rex, where it was then eaten by the Mosasaurus.

"(Your Name), you first," he beckoned with his hand for you to come forwards, which you did with your stomach hollow. Blue snapped behind you, sending a message that you didn't pay attention to. Your human threw down a hunk of pretty rich meat which you jumped up to grab before Blue or Rapture got to it. Rapture was kind of dangerous.

"Good girl. Now, Lunar!" He continued to list the raptors in order of usual waking times, earliest to latest. After Lunar came Saturn, Amethyst and Buzzard. Finally, Blue was called up and given something that none of the others had ever eaten before. It was a kind of meat that looked soft and luxurious. A huge rat. It was bigger than the others' food, including yours. You glared at Blue, then looked to your human, who was approached by another one of your humans. They spoke, though you understood few words. Blue tucked into her meal, with her pack and you following on to eat your breakfast.

In the meantime, you heard a few roars coming from the distant T-Rex enclosure. That thing was so loud. Along with that, there were a load of new dinosaurs in the park than before the incident. Security had apparently been upgraded and hybrids... there'd been no more.

You waited after finishing your meal, you waited for a few minutes. Your human looked worried after the other human said something. He waved his hand to dismiss the group and Blue turned towards the rest of you. She then was distracted by something.

"There's a human," she barked, turning around to face an area in the nearby area. Sometimes, people would fall from the railings overhead. You seemed to be the only one who had figured that it was an accident and that nobody would intrude purposefully in your territory. Rapture, as always, split off from the group and took his own route, whilst the rest of the raptors took off with Blue.

You followed them. Sometimes it was fun to be like Rapture, sometimes it was fun to run with the group. There was a ton of communication from each raptor. Blue kept the group organised whilst some others exchanged excited words. You, on the other claw, dreaded to think of what would happen if someone stepped in. What if your human interrupted?

Upon approaching the human, Blue hissed and barked, "Surround them!"

Following her orders, yourself and the others backed the human into the nearest corner. They yelped and cried out, agitating you.

"Stop!" the voice of your human called from another part of your territory, causing you to look over. He was approaching slowly from behind, though to the side close enough to slip past the raptors and to the human. It didn't move.

Your human clicked his fingers, attracting the attention of the rest of the pack. As you turned, your (eye colour) eyes blazed. The thrill was too great to abandon now, you were born for this.

A blood red raptor suddenly lunged at your human from the undergrowth, pinning him and trying to bite and claw him. My human! you roared, then charged forwards.
