my concert is the pic on the side, Luke looks beautiful omg two friends met Luke one met lashton and she gave me her phone saying Luke touched it and I never grabbed a phone so quick in my life she tried getting a video for me but they were busy :( next time

Saturday July 28th, 1956

Luke sat in the red leather booth, a banana milkshake in his hands as he sipped at it through the straw. Reece had his arm slung over luke's shoulder as he and his friends all laughed and talked loudly, Calum, Kaitlin and Sarah had tagged along so they could get to know Luke's boyfriend and his friends.

The diner was filled with the sound of laughter and music and talking and yelling, a TV silently playing the news. Luke wasn't listening to his friends, he was concentrating on the music as he stared at the TV, sipping his milkshake. He was trying to hold in the anxiety that wanted to bubble out. He was still anxious over what had happened, sure will was dead, but his friends weren't.

Luke felt a kiss being pressed to his head and he looked up, the straw still in his mouth as he stared at his boyfriends pretty brown eyes. "Hm?" He hummed, releasing the straw and putting down his milkshake.

"What ever happened to that job at the library?" Reece questioned, wiping the corner of Luke's mouth free of milkshake. He wish he could've kissed it away.

"Didn't get it." Luke said with a duh tone, which made Reece glare at him before kissing his nose quickly.

"You should get a job here, you spend so much time here and you can learn how to make those milkshakes." Reece said.

"I can't cook, and I suck at cleaning and I'm clumsy and forgetful, I wouldn't--"

"You can learn sweetheart." Reece assured him, before he slid from the booth and headed over to the owner of the diner, a lady in her mid forties, her name was Maggie Lee.

Luke watched as Reece talked to Maggie, who had red hair in tight curls on the top of her head. Reece pointed over to Luke, and the blond blushed, slumping in his seat.

He saw Maggie look over and then Reece kissed her cheek before walking back over to Luke. "You start tomorrow." He said making Luke sit up with his mouth open.

"What?" Luke asked, "how did you even do that?"

"I told her my wonderful boyfriend need a job for the summer before college, is that okay sugar?" Luke nodded eagerly and hugged Reece tightly, mumbling thank you's and kissing his cheek.

"So what did you really tell Maggie at the diner?" Ashton questioned as they sat in the car on the way home. They'd just given Luke a lift home and Michael was passed out in the back seats.

"I told her Luke needed a job for a distraction and she heard what happened to him and once I said it was true, she said he could have it." Reece explained making Ashton look at him.

"So she heard he was raped and just handed him a job?" He questioned and Reece nodded. "Wow, Maggie has a heart."

"I wish I could help Luke get over it." Reece said with a sigh, "Even though Will's dead I know he's not gonna be okay for a while, he still barely lets me touch him. He flinches when I touch him with our warning." He explained, shopping at a red light.
