The drive to the restaurant was full of silly banter, and I gazed at the very nice looking building for a moment before we pulled up. Once again, the car was parked by the valet.

Khira took my arm again, clearly having developed a new habit of dragging another human along with her, this human being myself.

The young woman at the front counter showed us to our table. I smiled subconsciously at the scenery. All the restaurants Khira had taken me to were so lovely and looked very expensive, although they definitely were. There were large crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and the yellow dim lighting gave it a comforting feeling.

Khira said thank you to the woman after she sat us down and handed us our menus, open and ready for us to read.

There were so many options on the menu, and I had no clue what to pick.

Another young woman placed a bowl of bread in front of us, consisting of bread sticks and other types of bread.

"Are you ready to order your drinks?" The woman politely asked us, and Khira ordered a glass of wine, and I asked for a glass of cold water.

"Isn't this place gorgeous?" Khira broke the silence between us.

"It is," I smiled. "Thank you for taking me here."

"It's not a problem. You're my best friend."

After we had ordered our food, I took this time to scan the area once more. This place was smaller than the Mentifoú Oriental, though it was just as beautiful.

I looked over the couples and families that were sitting at the tables all around us. Considering my scanning was my main focus, I felt the calming music blur out a little bit. Everyone around us was talking at once, all deep in their own conversations. I took my glass of water from the table, bringing it up to my lips and taking a drink out of it as I continued to gaze around in every direction.

I was in my own little world, all up until the all too familiar dark and raspy voice broke through the others.

I sucked in a sharp breath, resulting in some water shooting straight down my throat as I began to fall into a coughing fit. I placed the glass down quickly, covering my mouth with my hands as I coughed and spluttered into them.

"Ivery, are you okay?!" Khira whisper yelled quietly, but not quiet enough.

I turned to where Harry sat in fear that he had heard Khira. Of course, his head was sharply turned towards me, a smirk spread across his features. With my mouth agape as my coughing had died down, my eyes darted to the person opposite him.

It was Andrew.

Luck was clearly on my side today.

Andrew's rambling had also died down once he looked at Harry, noticing he wasn't listening. Andrew's gaze followed Harry's, all until his eyes landed on me.

Andrew smiled lightly to himself as he immediately shot up from the table, approaching us. I turned away faster than ever, pretending to have not seen him, although it was the most obvious thing in the world that I had.

"What a pleasant surprise." Andrew began, standing before Khira and I. She had a very confused look on her face, to which I looked at her the same way, pretending to be as confused as she is.
