"Aww! Look at them!"

"Like I said, it's about time they got together."

"Yeah, I suppose I always knew it was going to happen eventually."

"Better her than that Lavender Brown bloke."

"Definitely. Hermione isn't some obsessive freak."

"Well, you didn't see them last night when they snogged -"

Ron opened his eyes finally just to end the conversation between his mother and George. He fought to hide his blush. When he looked over, Hermione was doing the same.

George and Mrs. Weasley stopped talking at once, looking over to them from a few feet away from the couch Ron and Hermione were cuddled up on.

"Good morning, dears," Mrs. Weasley said warmly. "Your breakfast is on the table. I hope it's not too cold."

"Thank you, Molly," Hermione said sleepily before stretching and yawning.

Ron stretched as he got up from the couch, then pulled Hermione up too. They sat side by side at the kitchen table, smiling as they ate.

Ron stopped eating for a moment to watch Hermione. Memories from the past day flooded his mind, filling him with happiness.

Hermione was his girlfriend.

Ron leaned over and kissed her warm cheek. She looked at him, suprised but happy. He blushed as he said, "Good morning, beautiful."

He looked away, not wanting to see her reaction if it was bad.

"Ron?" Hermione said quietly, and he chanced a look at her.

She kissed him lightly. She tasted like breakfast, and both pairs of lips turned up in a smile as they kissed.

When they pulled away, Hermione said, "Good morning."

"Aww!!!" Mrs. Weasley squealed, beaming at the pair of them. Ron and Hermione both turned a tomato red and looked back to their breakfasts.

Once they were finished, they made the dishes clean themselves in the sink and Ron looked at his watch.

"It's already eleven thirty!" he exclaimed, looking at his mother.

"We didn't want to wake you," Mrs. Weasley said apologetically.

"SHE didn't want to wake you," George said, sounding disappointed.

"No, no, it's fine," Ron said. "I'm glad you let us sleep, because now I'm ready to enjoy the rest of the day," he added with a smile. "Speaking of which, what have you got planned for today?" he asked Hermione.

"I'm going to do what that lady told me yesterday and spend more time with Crookshanks," Hermione said as the cat trotted into the kitchen, stretching. "What about you?"

I've got to run to Diagon Alley again today," he said, a smile playing on his face. "I'm going in just a few minutes so I can get it over with."

He ran upstairs to change quickly, then took the stairs down three at a time.

He gave his mother a hug, Hermione a peck on the cheek, and George a "goodbye" before Disapperating in the yard.

Once in Diagon Alley, Ron went straight to Flourish and Blotts to look at the books.

Percy greeted Ron as when he came in and was happy to help Ron find the perfect book for Hermione.

After a long time of searching, Ron finally saw a section that looked promising. The section was labeled "Muggle Books". Since Hermione was Muggle-born, he was sure she would like it.

He looked through that section for a while before he found a book titled "Cinderella and related works." Last year, hadn't Hermione said something about these being the type of stories she was told when growing up?

He grabbed it and paid quickly, knowing Hermione was going to love it.

Instead of Apperating into the backyard as usual, he Apperated straight to his bedroom so to keep the book hidden until Christmas.

On December 18, the day before Ginny would arrive home for the holidays, the owl named Holly delivered Ron a letter from Harry saying he'd be at the Burrow in time for dinner. That would be about the same time as Ginny would arrive.

"He probably planned it like that," Hermione whispered to Ron as they read the note, their heads close together. The both smiled, knowing it was most likely true.

The next day was full of excitement at the thought of both Ginny and Harry being home that night.

At six fifty-five in the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Bill, Fluer, Charlie, Percy, George, Ron, and Hermione all Disappereated from the Burrow and Apperated side by side on Platform nine and three quarters in King's Cross Station, where the Hogwarts Express would roll in in five minutes' time. The platform was already packed with parents and siblings of Hogwarts students, and the Weasleys and Hermione tried to find a comfortable place to stand where they could see Ginny get off the train.

Sure enough, the train pulled in at exactly seven o' clock, bringing with it happy students of Hogwarts hanging out the windows, waving to friends and family.

There weren't many kids to get off the train, and they found Ginny immediately with her Weasley-red hair.

She caught sight of them all and ran as fast as she could to them, pulling her trunk behind her. She nearly knocked her parents down as she hugged them. She gave Fluer a brief hug before turning to her brothers, beaming.

George ran to her and threw his arms around his sister. Ron joined in the hug, followed by Bill and Charlie and finally Percy. Ginny was hidden completely from anyone who wasn't in their little huddle as her brothers told her how much they had missed her. They then amused her by arguing over who missed her more, which turned into an arguement about who she loved most out of them.

Finally, Mrs. Weasley said, "I gave birth to her, so of course she loves me most!"

Everyone fell silent at the abrumpt interruption. After several seconds, Mr. Weasley said, "Molly wins. Now let's go home."

They all laughed as, one by one, they Disapperated home.

Ginny was the first one home, and she headed towards the door as she heard the ten 'pops' of her family members Apperating behind her.

Wait....

Ten?

Her heart raced as she drew her wand and whipped around, ready to attack whoever had followed them, but lowered it when she looked into the eyes of the extra person.

Even though the sun was almost completely down, she could still see that the eyes of the person were a peircing green she had loved since she had first seen them.

"Ginny," Harry Potter said, smiling.
