"Before we go outside, Fluer and I would like to say something." Everyone instantly hushed.

It was New Years' Eve and it was almost time to start the fireworks George, Ron, and Charlie had bought.

Fluer stood beside Bill and everybody - Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Mr. and Mrs. Granger, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson (Angelina's parents), Mr. and Mrs. Delacor, Charlie, Percy, George, Angelina, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Harry, and even Teddy and Crookshanks - were watching the two of them, confused.

Fluer took a deep breath and couldn't hold back a smile as she announced, "I am one month pregnant!"

Mrs. Weasley and Mrs. Delacor hollered in excitement, hugging Bill and Fluer tightly. When they let go of their kids, they gasped each other and sobbed together.

"We're going to be grandmothers!" Mrs. Weasley said happily to Mrs. Delacor.

"Our first grandchild each!" Mrs. Delacor said just as loud.

"I'm going to have a grandson or daughter," Mr. Weasley said, running a hand through his thinning hair. He smiled and stood to pull his son into a hug. "Congratulations, son! And let's not forget the lovely mother of the child," he said, hugging Fluer as well.

Somehow, through all the commotion of congratulating the pair, everyone was soon outside, and George started the fireworks with Charlie.

Ron and Hermione watched the beautiful colors in the sky with Harry and Ginny, both couples holding hands.

Since Christmas, Ron had really been thinking hard about how much he loved Hermione. He had wanted to tell her multiple times, but he would either chicken out or they would get interrupted. He wanted to do it tonight, with the fireworks.

He knew how much she loved romance stories, which explained her love for those Disney princess stories. He thought this, telling her he loved her under the fireworks, would be very romantic. To her, at least.

He knew there was always a possibility that she didn't love him back. For some reason, that didn't scare him like it normally would. All he wanted was for her to know. He knew if he didn't tell her he loved her, he might never know if she loved him back. He had to take a chance.

As if on cue, Harry and Ginny left to get drinks from the kitchen.

Ron smiled as they left and slid his arm behind Hermione's back beside him. He moved so he was directly in front of her, smiling down at her as she wrapped her arms around his neck, still watching the beautiful fireworks.

His heart beat faster as he thought about what he was about to tell her. Hopefully she couldn't hear it. "Hermione, I have to tell you something," he said, watching her focus go from the fireworks going off behind his head straight into his eyes. On her face flashed the colors of the fireworks above them: orange, red, yellow, blue, red again.

"Okay," she said, smiling up at him. "What is it?"

Ron opened his mouth to speak, but before anything could come out, they heard a gasp, then someone said, "Oh my gosh! George!"

Ron and Hermione looked around and saw everyone else looking at Angelina and George. Angelina was covering her mouth with her hands.

George was on one knee, smiling at her.

Angelina began crying hysterically as George pulled a small black box out of his shirt pocket.

"Angelina, will you marry me?" he said as he opened the box, exposing a beautiful silver ring.

She squealed and nodded, then fell to her knees in front of him, holding his face in her hands and kissing every part of it she could.

Mrs. Weasley looked ready to burst with happiness as she pulled both of them off the ground and hugged each of them tightly. First, she realizes she's going to be a grandmother, then she's getting a new daughter-in-law! She began crying again and ran to hug Mrs. Johnson as well.

The only ones who looked happy but not surprised were Mr. Weasley and Mr. Johnson.

"Dad, you knew?" Percy asked.

"We both did," Mr. Johnson said, standing next to Mr. Weasley. "George came by one day while Angelina was out and talked to me about it."

"Really?" Charlie asked, shocked. "I never imagined him telling anyone about it. Why were you all of a sudden a gentleman?" he asked George jokingly.

"Well, I care about her too much to not do it the right way," he said, smiling lovingly at Angelina. More tears slid from her eyes and she kissed George happily.

Ron looked at Hermione and she looked almost as happy as Mrs. Weasley. "Why are you so happy?" he asked her, laughing lightly.

"Because it's so romantic!" she squealed. "Outside, under the stars, with fireworks, on New Years' Eve!"

'I knew it,' Ron thought, smiling.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" Harry asked. He had just gotten back with Ginny, both of them holding a drink.

Hermione hopped up and down slightly and said, "George just proposed to Angelina!"

"Oh, that's terrific!" Ginny said. " I actually like her!" Her and Harry then walked over to congratulate them.

'Now tell her,' Ron thought. 'You know for sure she'll think it's romantic.'

Ron took a deep breath and stood in front of Hermione again. He took one of her hands in his, using his other hand to tilt her head up to look at him.

He looked deep into her eyes and had no doubt in his mind as he confessed, "I love you."

At that moment the fireworks started going off again.

Ron and Hermione looked up as a red firework exploded above them. They both smiled and Ron looked back at her. What was she thinking?

This was more romantic than Hermione could have ever hoped for. She had had her moments with Victor Krum when he was at Hogwarts for the Tri-Wizard Competition her fourth year. But nothing compared with this.

Se looked back at Ron to find him already looking at her. He gazed at her so lovingly, she couldn't help but wrap her arms around his neck again and kiss him with everything in her. She didn't care that his parents were right there. Who cares if her parents didn't like it? She just hoped Ron realized how much he meant to her through the kiss.

Ron's lips turned up in a smile as he kissed Hermione back. He lifted her off her feet and her hands tavelled down from his neck to his arms, where she felt his muscles softly. She giggled and kissed him even harder.

Never had he felt so sure he had said the right thing.

EARLY UPLOAD!!! =D This is early because 1) I got it done and 2) I thought I needed to make up for uploading so late this weekend.

I'm going to try to add a picture of Angelina's ring. I saw it and fell in love with it, so I thought it'd be perfect. =)

Send me feedback! What do you think so far?

I love you for staying with me through this if you are. I don't expect a huge audience for this story, but I'm glad I have a few people reading. =) For some reason it makes me feel good, so thank you for reading.
