Harry's heart stopped when he saw Ginny in her wedding dress on July 10. He had never seen her look so much like a goddess.
Her beautiful dress fit her bust well and had a strap directly underneath. The fabric had a silky feel to it and it was light and comfortable, reaching just above her toes in her two inch heels. The straps of the dress connected at the top right part of the front of the dress, held there by a white flower. Her long red hair was straight down to the middle of her back.
'I can't believe she chose me,' he thought happily as he watched her walk with Mr. Weasley. (A.N.: Did anyone catch the "Wedding Planner" reference? =))
As she walked down the aisle, she surveyed her surroundings. Professor McGonagall had graciously let them use Hogwarts as their place to get married, so they decided to have it outside near the Black Lake. All their friends and family were there.
Harry looked incredibly handsome in his tuxedo, smiling at her as she got closer to the alter. Ron and Neville were also in tuxes beside him, and Teddy (the ring-bearer) was also in a tux, but he was sitting next to Jessica (the flower girl) on the first row. She was in a smaller version of the dresses Ginny's bridesmaids, Hermione and Luna, were wearing on the opposite side of the alter from Ron and Neville. Both Teddy's and Jessica's hair was the same red as Crookshanks' fur, and the cat was laying at their feet.
Ginny smiled bigger when she saw that Teddy and Jessica were holding hands.
She gave her dad a quick kiss before walking the rest of the way to stand in front of Harry. He looked at her and his heart flipped.
'Heaven help if I ever think of treating her wrong,' he thought.
As the service started, Harry took one of the flowers from Ginny's bouquet and tucked it behind her ear. He let his hand linger on her smooth cheek. He slid his hand down to her neck, to her arm, and finally to her had again, holding it.
She smiled at his familiar touch, so glad she was marrying him. She would live with him and have his children and go home everyday to him and wake up next to him and be the only one he ever loved.
"I believe the couple has written their own vows," the preacher said. "Mr. Potter, if you will please go first."
Harry dropped on of her hands and took a sheet of paper out of his coat pocket. He cleared his throat before starting. "Ginny, ever since my sixth year at Hogwarts, I couldn't imagine being with anyone but you. I don't think I could stop loving you, and I sure don't want to try. You're my other half, my girl, and you will be my wife in just a few minutes and I can't wait. You're the only one I ever want to be with. I love you, Ginny."
The whole time, he didn't look at the paper once. Instead, when he finished, he handed the paper to her and, confused, she looked down at it.
All it had on it was a heart.
Ginny looked up at him again and smiled. He kissed her cheek softly and a single tear rolled down her cheek. He wiped it away and held her hand again.
"Miss Weasley, you may go now," the preacher said, smiling slightly.
She took a deep breath. "Harry, I've fancied you since I was ten years old and I saw you at Kings Cross Station. Everytime I saw you after that, I was embarrassed to talk because I didn't want to say someting stupid in front of you. But no matter how much I fancied you, I never thought I could love you as much as I do. Now, I don't believe I could ever love anyone as much as I love you. I know, with you, I'll always be happy. I love you."
Harry smiled and put his forehead to hers. She grinned and closed her eyes, savoring the moment.
"If we could have the rings now," the preacher said.
