I storm up into my room and kick my door open fuming. How could they not tell me this?! It is my life that they were hiding! I can't believe it! I was so busy angrily pacing my room and kicking my furniture around I didn't see anyone on my bed. "For a faerie princess this is pathetic," came a highly amused voice from my bed. I jumped and see Calaen on my bed. "God Calaen, why do you pop up like that?" I growl at him. "Why are you here anyways I told you to get out?" I am still really pissed at everyone and everything. "Hey don't shoot the messenger," he smirked. His face turned serious for a moment. "The queen ordered me to escort you back home, whether you like it or not. And I would prefer not to knock you out with a sleeping spell because they leave you with an extremely painful headache, " Calaen explained. I stop pacing for a minute and thought about going to meet my royal mother. You see, I've never met my biological mother before so this sparked some interest. "When do we leave?" I ask curiously, I wanted to leave as soon as possible. I was so excited. "We could leave now Alexia," he said in a 'duh' sort of voice. "Why do you keep calling me Alexia," I ask. "It's what I used to call you when you were little, you were so adorable.. but now, " Calaen said giving me a once over. "Hey!" I say and playfully slap him across the chest. He chuckled and threw me over his shoulder. I laughed and kicked my feet upwards. "Put me down, you overgrown beast," he did but he dropped me on my bed. "You should start getting ready, Princess," I scowled when he called me princess. I already hate that title and I only found out I had it like five minutes ago. I grab my backpack and start cramming things into it like shirts, pants, shorts, jumpers and more embarrassing things like bras and underwear.
Ten minutes later I had finished packing and I started writing a note to leave my 'sister'. It read:
Hey Cass, I just want you to know that I am not mad at you, I just want to go see my real mother. You have lied to me for the past eight years but I am ready to forgive you. You are still the older sister that I know and love even though you are not really my sister. Tell Zayn that I'm sorry and that I love him like an older brother. Please don't try and stop me because I won't listen for you. I love you guys so much, but next time please don't lie to me for eight years.
Lots of love
Alex
I stood my note on me bed side table, where I knew my sister would find it. I should really stop calling her that. Considering she lied to my for eight years and she really isn't my sister. I shrug it off though. I grab my bag, put my black glasses on and turn to Calaen. "I'm ready, let's go," I say determined. "Ok," he grabs my hand and pulls out a round glass ball. He whispers something to it and throws it to the ground. I am taken aback I see what should have been broken glass, was a giant hole in my carpet. I gasp when I see a whole new world in that hole, "H-how did you do that?" I stutter. "It's a transportation globe, " he said simply offering no explanation of how it does its magic. "Are you ready?" He asks. I nod, and takes my hand give it an encouraging squeeze. He lets go of my hand and walks forward. He calls over his shoulder, "Watch me Alexia, and do exactly what I do when it is your turn." He jumps, squeezing his arms and legs together, the portal swallows him whole. I gulp and move up to the edge. I jump and do exactly what Calaen did.
