We climbed a very steep hill for about 30 minutes until we reached the top.  My legs are burning and my breathe is coming out in ragged puffs. I just climbed a freakin' hill, I should be puffed! I play like nine sports for god sake! I turned to look at my two companions,  they weren't even slightly out of breathe, I mean come on how is that fair! I must have been scowling very deeply because Dimitri chuckled and Caelan smirked. "It's the glamour in the air, it is pressing down on you. I am surprised that you haven't collapsed by now because of all pressure that is being applied to you. You must be strong, little human, but then again your mother is Queen Mab," a curious voice came from up in a frosted tree. I whirled around, "Who said that?", my voice calm. I have gotten quite used to people sneaking up behind me. I looked up at the tree that the voice came from. I frowned slightly, all I saw in the tree were two leaves that looked very much like eyes. The leaves blinked once, then blinked again. A large toothy grin started to form underneath it. "Bloody hell!" I roared, there was an ice shard in my hand already. I stared at the feline eyes and toothy grin. I must have blinked because where a moment ago had been two eyes and a mouth, there was a medium sized cat with big blueish green eyes. Its fur was grey with dark stripes and it had long spiked teeth. The cat just looked at me amusement written all over my face. "What the hell are you?!" My voice was raised an octave. I look over my shoulder at Calaen and Dimitri with a questioning look.

"That waste of space over there is a cait sith," Calaen rolled his ice blue eyes, and flicked hair out of his face. The cat bared its teeth at Calaen and hissed at him. Calaen just smirked. "Oh come on, pussy cat, are you really still mad about that? It was like over a century ago," he said in his incredibly smug voice. The cait sith leapt out of his tree and launched himself at Calaen, claws digging into his face. Calaen cursed and groaned as the cait sith left deep scratches on his face. Calaen had managed to pull the cait sith away from his face and was now focused on keeping those long claws away from his face.

"I told you to collect my daughter and return with her to the Unseelie Court. Not fight with my cait sith, Calaen," I looked up and saw a tall, pale and beautiful lady. Dimitri and Calaen bowed deeply. "Your Majesty," they both murmured. And then it finally clicked. Standing in front of me in all her regal glory was Mab, Queen of the Unseelie Court and frankly my mother.
