Ginny
After all this time, just when she thought he would be angry with her again for not writing to him, Draco had finally kissed her and she was flying sky high. Why was he interrupting this?"Now?" Ginny said, frustrated.
"I can't keep doing this without telling you. It's wrong." He tried pitching in.
Ginny stomach dropped to the ground and saw that the look in Draco's eyes weren't getting any softer. "Tell me what?"
"I—don't know how to begin." He croaked, not looking at her in the eye.
Ginny's heart began to race as she searched every corner of her brain for things he was to say. Was he going break whatever this was apart? Her own conscience tugged.
Neither of them was actually sure what it was they had. Both of them had been so caught up with their own drastic turn of events that they hadn't even had time to think about their possible pairing. Little did Ginny know then, that she was to question it now.
"Just say it. Please." She rushed him losing patience.
"Er...you know Pansy right? Pansy Parkinson?" He began.
Ginny could feel her ears beneath her long hair growing hot with anger. You're being rather prejudice today, Gin. Her inner voice spoke.
"How could you not, with the kind of rude she is." She said, wrinkles forming on her forehead.
Draco looked at her with puzzlement. Jealousy looked good on her, and it sure wasn't making anything easier.
"Yes, well. Her and I sort of spent last night together. I hoped you'd understand how hard this is to say." Draco tried with all his might to drag the words out of his throat.
At his words Ginny suddenly felt like she would fall apart if she spoke, so she stayed silent. He seemed so okay with it all. Doesn't seem sorry at all. Her inner self pushed harder.
"I didn't want to though, she—she once had me wrapped around her finger and I—thought it was never to happen again. But it did Gin, and I'm sorry. I thought I was strong enough, but nothing stopped me and bloody hell I—" He was speaking too quickly for Ginny to understand.
She rolled her eyes and made him shut up with a hard kiss.
Draco pulled back and looked at her with flustered features and an astonished look.
"Does that mean you don't...want to hex me to death?" He said in the smallest of voices.
Ginny chuckled. "No thanks. I don't know about you but I like attending Hogwarts."
Draco smiled at her and her at him. Ginny's smile though faded, she was willing to forgive him but it didn't exactly mean that she was over it. Although Draco was not rightfully hers she still felt a pang of jealousy.
She gazed into his eyes, still standing close to him until his his own smile slipped away. "Are you sure?" He asked again.
"Of course, I know she's up to know good and you just got involved unintentionally." Ginny reassured him, placing a caring hand on his neck.
Draco closed his eyes and smiled at her actions.
"Christmas' right around the corner." He tried to change the subject. "Blimey you're right time...flies nowadays, y'know?" Ginny winked.
