I've always hated the smell of hospital's, if I'm here too long I'll start to get queazy.
Grandma said he's in room 204 which is on the second floor, I hop in the elevator, and press the button with the number two on it.
I hold tighter onto the basket of muffins I made last night, usually my grandma would drop them off, but it seems like a good time for me to see him.
"204" I mumble so I don't forget, after this I'll head to the academy and pick up my new uniform.
The elevator dings and I walk out and head to the front desk to ask which way the room is.
As I walk out of the elevator someone runs into me causing us to both fall on the ground, paper and muffins flew.
"Oh crap, I'm so sorry!" I hear a man say. I look up to see a man with brown hair in a suit.
"No, it's my fault, I should look where I'm going." I say apologetically helping him pick up his papers.
"Don't be silly, It's my bad, looking at this darn phone and walking is a terrible habit." He sighs with a nervous laugh.
"Are any muffins spared? I'd hate for me to have made you drop them all." He asks nervously, crap, I totally forgot about the muffins, I baked twelve and I only see four on the ground.
I open the basket, whew, I still have eight left. I sigh in relief as the man stands up and holds out his hand to help me up.
I don't want to seem rude, so I take his hand and hop up.
He begins to pick up the muffins on the ground and throw them in a nearby trashcan.
"Thank you." I say brushing myself off and taking a muffin out of the basket.
"Here, sorry about messing up all your paperwork." I apologize handing him a muffin, right now it's the only way I can repay.
"I push you on the ground and you give me a muffin?" He chuckles. "Thank you though, it looks delicious." He says taking the muffin.
There's an awkward pause and the man stares at me for a moment and then smiles.
"You're really cute." He says laughing, "Here, take my phone number, and give me a call sometime." He says smiling and pulling out a piece of paper with a number and a name.
I read the paper with the name that says Akito Ootori What? Is this Kyoya's brother?
I stare at him for a moment, his hair is more brown and long, but he is slender and has a long face like Kyoya, nevertheless he is handsome.
"Well in that case I'll put your number in my phone now, so I don't forget." I smile, it could be just a family member or something. But I do know that this hospital is owned by the Ootori family, along with about half of Japan.
I take out my phone and type in his number and send him a smiley face so my number is on his phone.
"Got it." He smiles, " Sorry to cut this short but today is a crazy busy day, I'll text you sometime?" He said hinting for a name.
"Oh, ah Sakiko, my name is Sakiko." I manage to say.
"Alrighty then Sakiko, see you around, and thanks for the muffin." He smiles and walks into the elevator waving as it closes. I look around and thankfully see room 204 right across the hall, so no need to go the the desk.
"Knock knock?" I say quietly entering the room with a smile on my face.
"Hey, Sakiko is that you?" My father says sitting up in his hospital bed.
"It sure is, and I brought muffins too." I respond holding up the basket and walking closer.
"Oh yum, what kind?" He asks as his face lights up.
"Blueberry." I smile and hand him a muffin.
"My favorite haha, So why aren't you at school Sakiko?" My dad asks.
"That's what I came here to talk to you about." I smile slightly.
"Oh no, did you drop out?" He asks concerned.
"No, no." I laugh, "I got into the academy." I say smiling
"What?! Sakiko that's amazing! I'm so proud of you!" He said staring to cry
"Ah! To-san why are you crying?!" I ask worried.
"I'm just so happy, I may not get to see you get married and have children, and see you graduate college and buy your fist house." He sighs, "But I get to see this, and I'm so thankful, I'm so proud of you Sakiko." He cries, I don't like seeing him cry so a grab some tissues from the counter by the sink and give them to him.
He smiles and wipes his tears up, "Sorry, Sakiko, this is just such great news, and this muffin, oh man this muffin is so good." He says smiling.
I couldn't help but laugh at him, "You're a goof." I say sitting down in the chair beside his bed. "So what's up with you? How is everything going?" I ask him, I never get to talk to him unless its over the phone, so it's nice to catch up.
"Ah, well chemo is helping a little, or at least that's what the docs are telling me for now." He sighs, "I'm still trying to get that hot nurse to talk to me too." He chuckles eating his muffin.
"Chiyoko wanted me to tell you that she loves you, she's got band practice today so she can't visit." I say, even though it's like this all the time. Chiyoko always makes up an excuse so that she avoids visiting, I guess she just doesn't like seeing dad like this, but she really needs to see him.
My dad has stage 3 lung cancer and has been fighting it for four years now. Me and Chiyoko don't visit very often because of school, and our mother moved to America to live with another man about a week after she found out he had cancer, leaving me and Chiyoko behind. So that's when Obachan took us in and helped us get in our feet.
She promised my dad that she'd make us become something in life and so far she's kept that promise and has no intention on breaking it.
I'm afraid my dad's curtains will be closing soon as one of the doctors called my grandma around a week ago explaining that the cancer may soon be terminal, that's why Chiyoko needs to see him.
"Well tell her to come visit soon, I'd love to see her." He smiles and wipes his hands in his blanket from the muffin he just ate.
"I have to start chemo treatment in about 30 minutes so the doc is gonna want to come in here and check me out. It's probably about time you leave and do the other things you need to do today." My dad says coughing.
"Alright, I'll leave the muffins here and Obachan will get the basket tomorrow, my first day at the academy is tomorrow so I can't come back and get it." I explain setting the basket on the counter and walking out.
"Wish me luck To-san!" I laugh and walk out of the room.
"Good luck Sakiko!" I hear him shout as a doctor walks into his room. I skip down the hall and into the elevator.

Once I get downstairs and into the parking lot I hear a car honk and turn around to see a car that looks like Kyoya's.
"Sakiko?" I hear as the window rolls down to reveal Akito, the man I ran into earlier.
"Need a ride? Hop in." Akito insists.
It'd be rude for me to decline so I walk over and get into the car, it's crazy clean and everything is black.
"Where to?" He asks putting the car in drive.
"Ouran highschool?" I ask, I hope he knows where it's at.
"Across from the private school?" He asks me pulling out of the hospital.
"No, at the private school actually." I answer smiling, his face looks surprised.
"Wow, not many people can get in there, I used to go there you know?" Akito says smiling.
"I assumed you did." I laugh
"How's that?" He says raising an eyebrow.
"Well Kyoya Ootori goes there, are you his brother? Or a cousin?" I ask curiously.
"I'm his brother, so do you know Kyoya?" He asks smiling while keeping his eyes on the road.
"I know him, not very well, but I know him. He's the only reason I'm getting into this school." I explain, "He's nice I guess. My Obachan loves him." I laugh looking out the window.
"Sakiko." Akito says getting my attention.
"Yes?" I reply.
"Would you like to have dinner with me sometime?" Akito asks, I tense up immediately, I don't know what to say and saying no seems rude, especially to the person who's family is helping me out a ton...
"Sure" I peep out, I've never talked to a guy about having dinner, and he is older, he's not even in highschool anymore. But I'm sure it's just as friends and stuff.

Nothing to worry about... Right?
