"And by the way," Loretta looked at me "Justin is looking for you. He probably just needs some new comer to muck out the stables... You'll find him in the courtyard behind the stables." She says.

"Okay, thanks." I try to be nice to her. I start to leave just when...

"Just a minute! One more thing: keep away from Justin. He's mine and nobody will ever come between us. Not that there's any chance that he would ever be interested in... somebody like you."

Somebody like me? What on Earth was that supposed to mean? She doesn't even know a thing about me, how would she even know?

I just rolled my eyes at her, and galloped back to the stables, to where Justin was.

"Hey." I say to him. "Loretta says your looking for me?" I rolled my eyes as her name came out of my mouth, but in all honesty, I was wondering what she meant when she said Justin was hers. Are they dating? I wondered.

Justin nods and laughs a bit at my eye roll, understanding what it meant. "Did she tell you to stay away from me?"

I laugh a bit and say "Yeah. Are you two dating?" I ask, hoping he will say no.

Justin rolls his eyes "No! Of course not." He seems a bit alarmed at my question. "She needs to stop telling people we're dating. It's never going to happen. I'm more interested In other people at the moment anyways." He gave me a wink.

OH MY GOD. This is the best thing ever. He just slammed Loretta, and winked at me. I have a feeling I'm going to like it here...

"Anyways, It's nice to see you again. I hope everyone else has been nice to you here. Don't mind Loretta, she can be a bit harsh sometimes but she's nice once you get to know her, even if it's hard to believe." Justin says.

I smile and nod.

"Anyway, I wanted to talk to you about taking care of your horse. You know how to right? I've got all the tools you'll need, make sure to care for your horse at least once a day."

I nod and say "I understand. I had a horse back home."

He nods and says "Oh! I almost forgot. I just got word from my father, Thomas, that he wants to see you. I've told him about the great job you are doing around here and I think that got his attention. He wants to ask you something really important, he wouldn't tell me what it was but I could see it in his eyes that it was something special."

"Thats sweet of you." I say "To tell him I've been doing a good job."

He smiles and nods and says "You should be on your way, my fathers waiting, he's over there by the stables."

"Okay, thanks!" I say as I ride off to Thomas, wondering what he has in store for me.
