Chapter 5: new memeber

Party Poison's POV:

It was a huge relief that we found her, but this killjoy is strange..... I don't think she even knows that I'm the leader around here. Im not trying to be narcistic, but everyone should know that. I questioned her about it but all she told me was that her old group excluded her from everything. She was just there.

The girl seems nice enough, and I want to trust her, but I know we can't just do that. I talked to the guys and we decided to take her to Dr. D.

I pull Missile Kid aside and ask her,"This person was nice to you? Never hurt you and took care of you?" I look straight into her eyes when I was saying this.

"Yes. She's awesome! She's like a big sister....or...she's like a mom!" Missle says...and I know she isn't lying.
I head to the girl and say,"Hello."

She just gives a small smile.

I take my mask off and the guys do the same, and finally, she did too.
I was shocked at what I saw. I've seen many pretty killjoys, but this one was just WOW! She had hot pink and black hair and blue eyes that shone so bright.

I can't be thinking like this. Not here. Not now.

I clear my throat and point to Fun Ghoul,"This short guy with the gorgeous black hair and tatts is Fun Ghoul."

"Pleasure to meet you sweetie." He winks at her. She just giggles.

"Princess fro fro here is Jet Star. And this blonde douche who is my little brother is Kobra Kid." I smile,"and I'm Party Poison." I say pointing to myself.

Her eyes go wide.

"Wait. You guys are the Fabulous Four?" She asks.

I nod.
"Missile, why didn't you tell me?"

Missile Kid shrugs and smiles.

"It's an honor to meet you guys." She says in awe, shaking each of our hands.

"My pleasure." Ghoul says while winking. It's obvious by now that he is the flirt in the group.

"Uh... Well, in sorry about taking Missile Kid, but two Dracs had her and I had to do something. I even offered many times to take her back to her group but she said,'can't give any unknown Killjoy their location.'" She says.
"Yeah, it is a rule. And thank you.... For taking care if her." Kobra tells her.

"Guys. She has a shower here!" Missle says out of nowhere.

We all look at the girl in shock.

"Uh...you can take one. if you want to. There are two. Just whatever you do, don't drink the water. "

Jet and Ghoul run for the showers and we all just laugh. Its been a long time. A really long time since we had one of those.

I look at the girl,"how do you have a shower?"

"An old group member knew how to make a system to get us shower water from when it rains." She shrugs.

I look at Kobra and Missile and see a smile from them both.

Kobra chides in and says,"we are going to take you to Dr. D for questioning. Is that okay?"

"Yeah. Now that I know you guys are the fab four, I know I can trust you with my life." She smiles,"but then again, Missile Kid did get away from you." She laughs.
Ah. So she has a sense of humor. We will get along great.

I cross my arms and look right into her big blue eyes, "I never got your name."

"Toxic Kitten." She says.

"That's a pretty cool name." Kobra says.

"Yeah. So is Kobra Kid." She says.

"But Party Poison is even better right?" I say with a smirk on my face. We all just laugh, but they don't know I was serious........

At that moment, Ghoul and Jet come out.
"That was great. I haven't had a shower in Forever. Thanks!" Jet says.
"Your turn Kobra and Poison." Ghoul says as he kisses Toxic Kitten on the cheek.

I smile at her once more and head for the showers.

Man oh man. I felt so squeaky clean. This shower would probably improve our moods. I watched all the brown, almost black, water go down the drain. That's what three months without showering does to you. All we can do is wash ourselves with a rag and that's it.
After about an hour in there, I finally get dressed and go out to where the others are.

"All right. Who's ready to go?" I ask.
Everyone nods except for Toxic Kitten "Wait, Party Poison....will I be coming back here?"

I tell her,"Please, call me Poison, and after you see Dr. D we will see what group you will be sorted with."
She nods and we all get in the car.

There wasn't anymore room so she had to sit on Fun Ghoul's lap, which he was happy about, but she looked very uncomfortable.

I sped off to the Diner to see Dr. Death.
As soon as we got there Toxic is in awe. She looks at the boards that boarded up the windows and admired the art the guys and I had painted there. The board contains our symbols.

Anything that seems boring and dull, we spray paint the shit out of it.

I lead her inside and Cherri Cola is there with Electric Rose.

Making out.

We finally caught them.

Toxic Kitten looks awkward and I just smirk and say, "Hey Cola, I bet that is like kissing a fish."

They both jump and Electric flips me off and walks towards the bathrooms.

"Really, Poison? Fine. Yes. We are together. But keep your mouth shut."

I laugh and say,"alright whatever. Cola, this is Toxic Kitten. She's here to see Dr. Death."

He looks at her and smiles,"Right this way."

She looks at me and says,"Do I have to go alone?"

"I'll go with you if you want." I reply.
She hesitates for a little bit and nods. She waves goodbye to the boys and Missle Kid and we make our way towards the radio room.

I put a hand on her shoulder and say,"Don't worry, he doesn't bite.......But I do." I say jokingly
She looks at me in terror and I just click my teeth together and the next thing you know we are both laughing.
"You are a weirdo." She laughs, Shaking her head.
