Chapter 9

Party Poison POV:

I wake up to the sound of small footsteps heading my direction. I look up and see Missile Kid smiling down at  me. Her curly brown hair sticking every which way, her green eyes boring into mine.

"Good morning Poison!" She says a little too excitedly.

I raise an eyebrow,"Good morning..... What are you so happy about?"

"Oh. Toxic and Kobra went on a run in the Trans Am to go get some sweets. She knows where they are!" She says giggling.

My eyes widden. "They took the Trans Am?"

She nods

They took my car. Without me knowing.

I huff and stomp into the dining room and see Electric Ross and Cherri Cola.
I scowl at her.

She waves her arms around,"What did I do?" She exclaims.

"You're breathing. That's what."

"Why are you in a bad mood?" Cherri Cola asks.

"Because Toxic took the car." Missile says.

I go to the counter and get a can of Power Pup.

Ghoul and Dr. D come in the dining room. Her comes in after them with All of Death's radio equipment.

"Well tumbleweeds," Death begins,"Looks like I'll be heading out. I can't afford for the Dracs to be on my tail. Cola, grab Electric and let's get into the van. I'm gonna need your help with moving in."

"You know wherever you go we go, old man." Cola smiles.

I help Jet get the equipment into the car while Cola and Ghoul get Electric into the van.

"So where are you heading?" I ask.
Dr. Death thinks for a moment,"I'm not sure. Probably the Nest. That's  pretty discreet location."

I nod in agreement.

"Well, good luck." I pat him on the back and push him into the van.
At that moment, I hear a car.
I turn around and see Toxic, driving my car with a huge grin on her face. And Kobra looks like he is about to throw up.

She is really speeding in. If she crashes my baby I will send her to Battery City.
The car comes to a hault.

I put my hands on my hips and say,"Who do you think you are? Going out and taking people's cars without permission."

She gets out and throws a Twinkie at my face.

"Shut up and eat a Twinkie ." She smiles,"Don't worry Poison, I didn't hurt your car." She winks.

That wink though.....

Nope. Not gonna think like that.

"You need to learn how to freaking drive! I think I might throw up. At least you know some pretty jazzy places to get food." Kobra says.

I scowl at Toxic.

She just gives me an innocent smile.

"Missile Kid I brought you a Fat Cake!" Toxic yells.

Missile runs out and grabs it from her, gives her a hug, and leaves to eat the sugary cake.

I just smile and Toxic looks behind me and frowns.

She puts her bag of goods down and walks toward the van.

"Where are you all going?" She asks.

"Heading somewhere where the Dracs won't find me, sweetheart." Dr. D says.
Toxic looks at Electric,"You're leaving too?' She asks.

Electric nods,"yeah, but don't worry, we will see each other again. I always run into the fabulous Killjoys and their crap for brains leader somehow."

"Hey!" I yell.

She smirks at me and continues talking to Toxic," it will be okay. I'll be okay. Just keep fighting. But for now, this is goodbye Toxic Kitten."

"Oh. Well, I had fun with you last night. And I'll keep fighting. Stay safe. Goodbye Electric Rose."

Hearing the sadness in her voice was unbearable. I just wanted to hug her.
Cola gives her a pat on the back and then she gives Dr.  D a hug.

"Goodbye Sunshine. See you soon. Poison. Let me have a word with you"
She steps back and I walk to him.
"Take care of Missile Kid." He says.

"I know." I nod.

We all stand back and wave at them until we can't see the van anymore.
Toxic still looks pretty down, so I walk over to her and throw a Twinkie back at her face and smirk.

She smiles and unwraps it, then stuffs it in my mouth.

I start coughing and I spit it out.

I look at her," Oh it is on." I say.

Her eyes widened and she makes a run for it, but I'm faster, I catch her and hold her down on the car and let a spit sting flow down from my mouth and just before it touches her face, I suck it back up.

"Party Poison stop stop stop!" She screams.

I just laugh and do it over again.
But this time, I don't suck the spit back up....it splatyered all over her face. It was an accident I swear to Destroya.

"I'm so so so sorry."

She looks like she was about to punch me, but instead she just laughed and wiped it off on her sleeve.

"Poison, you are gonna pay." She laughs.

"What did I walk in on?" Ghoul says. His jaw dropped, along with the rest of the group. Including Missile Kid.

I realize I still have Toxic pinned to the car. I quickly get off and we just stand there, blushing like idiots.

"We were fighting." She says.

Ghoul raises an eyebrow,"I know the code for that Toxic.

"No guys it wasn't like that. Now shut up and go stuff your faces with Fat Cakes." I scowl.

Missile Kid looks at Ghoul,"I know code for that too Ghoul, they are nasty."

They all just laugh their butts off while Toxic and I stand there.

"It wasn't like that! We didn't do anything!" Toxic said.

"Suuure." Kobra says.

They all head inside and then I hear Toxic hawk something up and spit, she then slaps me. I wiped something wet off my face

She slapped me with spit on her hand. That little....

She walks toward to entrance of the diner then turns around and says,"Told you I'd get you back." Then she winks and goes inside.

I just stand there. i bite my lip then smile.

This is the start of a beautiful friendship.
