Party Poison's POV:
Once again, we are going into Bat City. But this time i the heart of the city. I felt as if I had made a deal with the devil, but this is the only way everything will be okay. I feel horrible that I can't tell Dr. Deathdefying, or even Toxic. I just hope everything goes according to plan.
I had decided to stay as positive as I can. I noticed that my mood reflects off on the others, so I turn the radio up for some tunes to try to brighten mine and everyone else's mood, so i click on the knob and hear Dr. Deathdefying sending a message.
"So the fabulous killjoys go into battery city to save our messiah, which will result in saving all of us. May this big ball of radiation we call the sun shine down on them. All remaining killjoys shall wait for the call to kill them all! Stay safe my little proud and joys. Killjoys, make some noise."
A pretty shiny song comes through, it was called "save yourself, I'll hold them back."
I gripped on the steering wheel even tighter and pushed on the gas pedal even harder.
"Whooooooo!" I yelled in excitement.
The others looked at me, confused to why I seemed happy.
I wasn't, I was scared like all of them. Petrified even.
But I'm going to stay positive and reckless like how a killjoy is supposed to be.I look in the mirror into Toxic Kitten's eyes, and her blue orbs stare back into mine. She smiles at me, and I get butterflies in my stomach.
The way this girl makes me feel is unbelievable and truly exciting. The way she could make my day brighter is extraordinary.
She is an even bigger reason than Missile Kid to why I keep fighting, why I don't t give up.
"So, we are just going to speed on in the city?" He asked.
"Hell yeah." I reply as I bite my lip, swerving in and out of the lanesnon the road.
I caught Fun Ghoul staring at me, and I just wink and shoot a little hand gun at him.We didn't really talk much the whole drive, not really knowing what to say because of the situation we were in. It was always like this on a dangerous mission.
We all jammed a little bit to the radio, but that's about it.
The closer we got to the city, the darker the scene got. Pretty soon, no more smiles, no more laughs or dancing at all.
We were now about to enter a tunnel, that for sure had guards in it.
I started to speed up even more. Everything we drove by became blurry. I coukd barely read what was written on the digital billboards that read "keep smiling"
I saw a booth up ahead, with a guard there. He wore a mask that had a happy face with big eyes on it. He had the roadway blocked so no unknown cars could get through.
I speed up even more, the others silent in the background.
The masked gaurd starts panicking and wakes up the other guard once he saw me coming in closer, knowing I didn't plan on stopping the car.
The two guards that were there barely had enough time to move before I rammed into the station they were at, zooming right past it, looking back in the rearview mirror only to find them on the ground. Pushing a panic alarm.
"Crap, they are gonna be on our tail now. We gotta hurry and get her." Jet Star says.
"Yeah, no shit." Kobra replies, clearly a little bit distressed.
I speed up to the headquarters, the tallest building in battery city. So it was pretty easy to spot obviously.
I quickly stopped in front of the tall building. Thousands of glass windows were in this building. It looks the same as I left it all those hears ago. Cho really knows how to keep things looking new.
