Stephen(Nelly's dad)^^^

"Hey! Stop!"

I turned around to see a man running behind us wearing the same black suit my father and the other men with him wore. So he must work for the mayor, aka my father. I don't think I'll ever get used to saying or believing that my father is the new mayor. Not to mention the fact that I want to (and have to) kill him. When did everything in my life get so complicated?

The man was getting closer. Victor turned around to look at the man while we were running and his eyes widened. "Nelly, take everyone to the car." He told me while motioning toward my red car. "I have an idea."

I nodded and we, minus Victor, all sprinted towards the car, opening the doors and locking them when we got in. I looked out the window to find Victor running towards the man. I screamed at him to stop but he rammed into the man knocking him to the ground due to Victor's height and build. The man banged his head against the pavement leaving him limp on the ground, giving Victor the freedom to run back to the car. The minute his ass landed on the seat, I bolted out of the parking lot.

"I'm really not liking your dad, Nells." Victor commented. His head was leaning back against the headrest and he had his hand on his heart.

"Join the club." I replied.

"Shit! I left my car!" Victor realized.

"That would explain why I am being sat on by Reese and Travis at the moment." Tanner yelled from the back seat of my car.

"Oh shut up Tanner. Nelly, what the hell was that back there?" Stella asked me and everyone else in the car looked at me expectantly wanting to know the answer as well. Should I tell them?

I looked in the rear view mirror and sighed. "I wish I could tell you, Stell. I really do, but I just can't. Not right now." I admitted. Victor looked at me sadly and mouthed that I did the right thing. If I told Stella, she would have freaked out and would be put in danger as a result. It was silent all the way back to school, everyone just reliving the scene we were just in.

We made it back to school fifteen minutes later. Everyone got out of my car and stood around, not really knowing what to say or what to do.

"I don't really know about you guys, but I have had a long day filled with my almost-girlfriend being electrocuted and men in suits chasing me out of a bowling alley. I'm going home." Reese said about to walk to his car.

"Do you mind taking Travis home?" Tanner asked. "My mom wants me to stop at the grocery store on the way home to pick up some tampons."

Reese glanced over at Travis who had a slight blush on his cheeks. "Yeah, um, s-sure." Reese stuttered out. They walked to Reese's car and Travis turned around to look at me. I gave him a smirk and a thumbs up.

"I'll ride with the dirty ape." Stella smirked.

"Oh we're bringing this up again?" Tanner rolled his eyes. They bickered all the way to Tanner's car and I could see them yelling at each other as they pulled out of the school leaving me and Victor alone in the parking lot.

"I don't think I ever asked, but are those two dating?" Victor asked.

I just chuckled. "They are, but they just don't know it yet." Victor chuckled a little at that. "Well. I could either abandon you at the school or take you to get your car." I told him with a laugh.

"I'll take you up on the second offer." Victor replied. We hopped in my car and drove back to the bowling alley. I drove around a few times making sure my dad and his cronies were gone. I parked next to his car and he made a move to get out but I put a hand on his shoulder stopping him. He looked at me with confusion.
