I'm quite stressed.
I've been shaking consistently and my breaths have become gasps for the past five minutes. This has happened a couple times before. It's just stress. I don't know how these boys do it all the time. With everything in my personal life, plus the tour, rumors on the Internet, and just about everything in between, it's been almost too much to handle.
The shaking stopped and I took a deep breath.
There was a knock at the door. Blair left about an hour ago to do some extra "wardrobe work" with Louis. Lord knows what those two are really up to.
"Blair, is that you?" I yelled.
"No, it's Harry, you ready to go?" Harry's voice shouted from the other side of the door.
Oh yeah. I'm gong on a date. With Harry. Shit.
""How fancy do I need to be?" I asked looking down at my sweater and grey shorts.
"Not very fancy," he said, "it's going to be dark out soon so no one will be able to see anyway.
"Very funny," I remarked as I pulled some shoes on, and grabbed my iPhone and wallet.
"Are you going to let me in?" Harry asked.
"Nope," I said as I opened the door to see him smiling down at me, "alright boyfriend, let's get this over with,"
"Not with that kind of attitude!" He said he smiled and pulled his backpack strap higher on his shoulder, "you should know that there are tons of girls who would literally kill a man to go out on a date with me,"
"Well I'm not one of them," I said.
"That so?" He teased taking my hand and entwining his fingers in mine. "You like this, so I wouldn't be so sure," he smirked.
"Don't be so smug," I said, "I don't want to like you," the words feel out of my mouth as if I had no control. Harry's expression became stunned, but he continued to walk me towards the elevator.
"Did you just admit you're into me?" He asked.
"I....I...uh," I stuttered, "no,"
"You said that you don't want to like me, implying that you do, in fact, 'like me'," he said
"I didn't say that," I said quickly. My face was bright red.
"You're adorable," Harry smiled. I looked away, not quite sure how to respond.
The elevator arrived and we walked in slowly. Neither of us knew what to say. I pressed the lobby button and waited. I snuck gazes at Harry as the elevator sped downward. Every time he would look back at me I diverted my gaze.
One we reached the second floor, the elevator came to a sudden stop. I waited, expecting the doors to open and someone else to get in, but it didn't happen.
"Um, I think we might be stuck," said Harry.
"No shit, Sherlock," I muttered. It's not the universe that ships Hat, it's freaking elevators!!
"Alright then sassy," Harry smirked. He pressed the little emergency phone button.
"Hello?" A voice crackled through the speaker.
"Hi, the elevator we're in is stuck," he said.
"Alright, don't panic," said the lady on the other side, "how many people are in the elevator,"
"Just my girlfriend and I," he said. My heart leapt when he said "girlfriend,"
"I am notifying my manager. Help will be coming soon, just remain calm,"
