Landon pulled his car into the parking lot of a restaurant who's name I didn't recognize. So far, hanging out with Landon was way different than hanging out with Harry. Harry is a lot more tricky about what he's doing, and Carl drives for him...but why am I even comparing the two, they're totally different.

"Um, you coming?" asked Landon. I looked up to see him awkwardly holding the door open for me. I had no idea how long he had been standing there. I blushed and walked out thanking him for holding open the door.

"Table for two?" asked the hostess as soon as we walked in.

"Yes," I answered quickly, obviously catching Landon off guard.

We were seated at a table for two, and the waitress we to get our drinks.

"So.." said Landon.

~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~
"One one two one one two three two one one two three four three two one..." I sang my vocal warm ups in choir.
"Louder, kids!" said the directior. We finished the warm up, "Okay, now let's have everyone hold a note together. She played out everyone's notes on the piano. I held out the soprano note, suddenly my voice failed. I tried to sing again, but no noise came out. I tried to say something but no sound came out of my mouth, just a horse whisper.
"Kat, are you okay?" asked Harry from a couple seats away. I shook my head no and motioned to my throat.
"Ms. Showquist!" said Harry cutting off the note, "There's something wrong with Kat's voice,"
"Take her to the nurse," she urged quickly. All the eyes in the choir room were on me and every mouth was silenced.
"No, I'm fine!" I tried to say, but came out as an inautible whisper.
"Come on Kat," said Harry looking me straight in the eyes and grabbing my hand. I shook my head. He knew I didn't want to go to the nurse, ever since Harry and I's little "incident"...wow that sounded dirty...well ever since I hit my head, the nurse has given me a dirty look every time I stepped in a 20 foot radius of her. So naturally, I don't get sick offen. Harry rolled his eyes and dragged me out into the hallway.
"Katherine Shoy, you are going to the nurse right now, and I don't care what you have to say about it especially since you can't talk!"
Now it was my turn to roll my eyes, 'Fine' I mouthed. He took my hand sliding his fingers between mine. For other people this might be a romantic gesture, but for Harry and I, it was perfectly normal. I took me up to the nurse and almost had to shove me through the door.
"Oh, hello Katherine, Harry," said the nurse bitterly, "How may I help you?"
"Kat's voice is shot," said Harry quickly.
"Pardon?"
"Kat lost her voice," Harry clarified.
She rolled her eyes, "Then I suggest she go get a cough drop and suck it up,".
'What a kind and lovely school nurse' I thought to myself.
"No, her throat hasn't been sore, she was singing and her voice just gave out," said Harry.
"I'm sure she'll be fine," said the nurse.
"So, you're not even going ot make sure she's okay?" said Harry, I could hear a twitch of anger in his voice, "isn't that your job!"
The nurse sighed. "Fine, open your mouth,"
"Um, okay?" i whispered opening my mouth.
She used some doctory tool to look into my throat, "Oh, goodness," she said abruptly, "this is much worse than I had assumed, we need to get you to the doctor, how soon can your mum or dad be here?"
