It was good to be home.
After three years from the events at the Smithsonian, I was finally back in London, my beloved hometown. I had planned to spend my Christmas holidays with my parents and my bestfriend, whom I last saw four years before, and I missed them very much. Needless to say, things didn't quite go as I had in plan. But let's start from the beginning, shall we?

It had been two days since I landed in London, and I had finally decided to go say hello to my bestfriend. I was very nervous, because she still didn't know what had happend to me and what I was now, and I had no idea how she would react.
When I arrived at her house, I rang the doorbell. I heard footsteps coming downstairs.

-Who is it?-

-Your wife-

-What the...?-

-Margareth McTaveesh open this bloody door-

The person on the other side sprang the door open and looked at me speachless

-ALICE!- she shouted, then jumped and hugged me. I laughed with joy and hugged her back. She let me go, then punched me on the shoulder

-Auch!!-

-Four years!! Four bloody years!!-

-Yes I missed you too, thanks for asking so politely-

She didn't speak

-Hey I'm sorry, but I really work a lot there and... things happened-

She continued staring at me, but then smiled

-I'm glad your home-

I smiled too

-You want to come in?- she asked

-Yeah sure! We have a lot to talk about-

-Absolutely. And first of all, why the sunglasses? It's cloudy and it's snowing-

-Maybe it's better if I tell you inside in front of a cup of tea-

She nodded and showed me in

-You know? I missed hearing your scottish accent- I said with a smirk

-Oh, shut up Alice-

-So, what is it that is so big I need a cup of tea to hear it?-

We were sitting in front of each other at the table in her kitchen, sipping some warm tea. I was very nervous, and I had almost finished my cup while Meg was bearly halfway. I took a deep breath, and started talking

-So, this is a very big deal. Remember when I called you to help me find informations about the Egyptian gods and especially on Horus?-

-Yeah, I remember. I must admit I was very surprised because you're an egyptologist-

-Yeah, well... it was because of this- and I took off my sunglasses. Her eyes widened in disbelief at the sight of my silver and golden eyes

-What the hell...?!-

-Weird huh?-

-Girl, that's beyond weird-

-And it's not all- I continued -I know this will be hard to believe and will seem totally crazy but... I'm a demigodess. Daughter of Horus-

Meg didn't speak for quite a while

-You're joking-

-Nope-

-Proove it-

I nodded, then held out a hand and made appear the Eye of Horus. Meg chocked

-Holy shit... That is the coolest thing I've ever seen!- she exclaimed
