Secret of the Tomb (sequel to "Battle of the Smithsonian")

"IIEPWOP"

A while before

-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH-

While we all started to run away from the triceratops, Jed and Octavious fell off Attila's hat, straight into the heating vents. They flew through the vents, until they reached a grate where they stopped. The heat was umberable

-This is it! This is our last round boy!- shouted Jed

Octavious looked at him

-Hold my hand!!-

Jed, surprised, stared at Octavious

-Why?!-

Octavious hesitated

-Nevermind-

Suddenly, the air was shut down, and the two miniatures fell on the metal vent, covered with dust. They looked around

-We're a long way from home, boy- said Jed, then he looked at Octavious -You asked me to hold your hand?-

Octavious slightly blushed, but he kept a serious face

-No- he stated, and started walking away

-Hmm hmm?- hummed Jed, and followed him

After a while, they reached another grate, this time on the floor. They looked down trying to figure out where they were.

-You can't really see much- said Jed -We could jump down and hope for the best-

-But we have no idea of what's down there- said Octavious

But suddenly, they heard a roar coming from behind them. They slowly turned around

-We don't what's up here either- said Jed, his eyes open wide

Then, a hideous shadow appeared on the metal panels. Jed and Octavious screamed, and immediately jumped down through the grate

They landed on hard ground, and they were lucky they were still in one piece. After helping eachother standing up, they looked around.

-This is a roman city- said Octavious -I can feel the familiar pull of history from it's very foundations-

-Where the heck is everybody?- asked Jed

Octavious kept looking around, that city was awfully familiar to him

-I've seen this town before, I'm sure of it-

He started walking away

-Romans?- called Jed

After walking around the misterious city for while,they reached the end of the exhibit. Octavious looked down and saw a name plate.

-..."IIEPWOP"- he read -IIEPWOP... doesn't ring a bell-

They heard a hummed scream, and they both looked up

-Now who's this guy?- asked Jed

The bust of an ancient roman was trying to warn them about something, but he was inside of a glass theca, and the words were incromprehensible

-I'm sorry! I'm having trouble hearing you!- shouted Octavious

-No comprendo amigo! 'Cause you've got the thing in front of you!- shouted Jed -We...!-

Octavious interrupted him

-What are they doing?- he asked, pointing in front of him

A huge group of romans was running away from the exhibit and out in hallways of the museum

-What the hell are they doing?- said Jed -Is it something that we said?- he then shouted

They then started to pretend they were Godzilla, and roaring. Then they laughed

-Come on back to IIEPWOP, there's plenty of room!- said Octavious

-They're crazy as road lizards- said Jed laughing

-People are strange- stated Octavious with a smile

After all the romans had ran away, Jed thought about something

-IIEPWOP... are you sure you're reading right pal?- he asked

The bust screamed again, and finally he screamed loud enough that something was recognizible, and it sounded a lot like...

The ground started to rumble, and the two turned around, just to see a huge volcano erupting

-Oh...- sighed Octavious, looking at Jed -Pompeii-

They were about to hop down the exhibit, when a huge rock covered in lava landed in front them, blocking the way. They had no other option than to run into the city. While they ran, rivers of lava started creating, and they were suddenly cornered in every direction by lava

-Last round! Time to slap on the barbeque sauce, boy!- said Jed, grabbing Octavious' arm

Suddenly, a shadow appeared above them, and they looked up to see... Dexter?! He grinned

-No no you wouldn't!!- shouted Jed

-He must- stated Octavious

And Dexter started peeing. On the lava. And on them. Fortunately, that freezed the lava. Jed and Octavious looked at eachother

-We must never speack of what happened here today- said Octavious

Dexter peed again on them

-Oh come on!! That wasn't necessary!!- shouted Jed

Dexter came down from the rooftops of the city

-We'll let Larry now we're okay. Turn around- said Jed

Dexter did as he said, and Jed unlocked Nicky's phone. Then he took a selfie with Octavious, and sent it to Larry

-Now what?- asked Octavious

-We follow the monkey- said Jed

Back at the loading dock

Laa was still holding the door, though no one was coming. He smelled something, and turned his head to see two bags full of polysterene. He turned his head back to the door

-Dada say NAH. No eat- he said

He looked again at the polysterene, then back at the door

-Stay Laa. Stay-

But he looked again at the bags. He moved closer to the them, but still with his hands on the door.

Hey guys! Didn't expect an update so soon did you? Well here you have it!
I know it's kinda short, but this is just a transition chapter for what is going to happen in the next one, because (brace yourselves)... a new character is going to be introduced!!! I am so exited about it, but I still don't know if it will be a key character or just a side character, still working on that. If you have any guesses, be sure to let me know in the comments below! Little hint: it's connected with Alice's past life before the Museum of Natural History.
