"Magic never ends"

It took me a few weeks to finalize the transfer of Ahk's parents and Lancelot to New York. My co-workers were surprised of this sudden decision, and they tried to coinvince me it wasn't a good idea. But, after a few weeks of hard work, I made it. And with us also came Meg, who found a job as a guide at the Museum of Natural History, and Tilly, who joined Larry as a night guard.

And, for our first night back in New York all together, we had in plan something special.
I was waiting in the Hall of the building, leaning on the centre table, Meg sitting behind it putting away some papers. We were waiting for Larry, Nick and Tilly to arrive.

-So, you like it so far?- I asked Meg

She looked up and smiled

-I love it. I can never thank you enough for taking me with you on this adventure-

I smiled aswell

-You deserve it-

After a few moments Larry, Nick and Tilly entered the building. Nick was carrying a big suitcase behind him.

-Hey guys!- I greeted them with a smile

Nick smiled and walked past me and Meg

-I'll go set up my stuff on the balcony-

-Okay kid, we'll prepare the rest- said Larry

We all gathered in a circle.

-So what's the plan?- asked Meg

Larry took word

-Me and Tilly are going to prepare the exhibits, Meg you're in charge of locking up the building, and Alice will go talk to McPhee. I really hope it goes well-

-It will, don't worry- I reassured him

While the others organized the other stuff, I went to McPhee's office and knocked on the door.

-Come in!-

I opened the door and went in. The director of the museum was putting away his work stuff in his leather briefcase

-Goodevening, Dr McPhee-

He smiled

-Ah! Miss Greenleaf! Is everything okay?-

-Yes! I just wanted to talk to you about something-

He stopped what he was doing

-Yes? What is it?-

I took a deep breath, and started talking

-So, we've been working here for quite some time now, and we've come to know you relatively well in these years. And, after some discussions, we've come to the conclusion and decision that you could be trusted-

He looked confused

-With what?-

-With well, let's say, top secret information-

I opened up the black briefcase I had had with me all the time, and took out the Tablet, handing it to him. McPhee smiled

-Ah, the infamous glowing Tablet of Ahkmenrah. Larry Daley and his fanciful tales-

I smiled

-Like I said, we knew you can be trusted-

-You and who?-

-Me, Larry and the others-

McPhee was more and more confused

-Who are "the others"??-
