***Let me clear some stuff up. Yes Rose and Mas are dating. They are around 1600 years old but look 16. For Mas his irises are yellow but the part that is suppose to be white are black.***
The streets of the town were mostly quiet. Few people walked around, mainly with bags filled with food. They walked to a big building that was the shopping mall. When they walked into it there were tons of people in it.
"Is there anything you need to get?" Mas asked.
"I want to see if I could find any new books," she answered looking around.
"Alright, I'm going to go get the stuff I came for," Mas said. Then he walked off.
Rose found the book store then walked into it. She took a book big book off one of the shelves a flipped though it, it was a medical book. A man around in his early twenties walked up to her.
"I see you found one of our medical books." he said. "This one has stuff at the Expert and Master level. A fine, useful book it is." He walked away after that.
Rose smiled at the book, this is what she wanted. She also grabbed a small romance book that had a kissing couple on it. She went to the counter to pay. While walking out of the store she accidentally walked into a guy and made him drop all of his.
"I'm so sorry sir," she said crouching down "let me help you pick up your things."
"You stupid girl!" he spat.
He cocked his fist back to punch her. Rose closed her eyes waiting for the impact. There was none. She opened her eyes and saw Mas holding the guys wrist and a sword on the guys neck. Mas' teeth were sharp. The guy's eyes were opened with shock and fear.
"If I ever see you touch even a hair on her, I will kill you." He growled. With that the man ran away leaving his stuff behind. Mas stuck his hand out to help Rose up. "You should get up, the floor is dirty." he said smiling. She grabbed his hand and pulled herself up. Rose picked up her books and they left the store.
