"What the hell do you mean by let's go find Jimin's ex?" Jungkook questions once you tell him your elvish plan. "I don't want to participate in anything that has to do with him. I'm done." he says, crossing his arms sternly.

"Come on, Kookie." you plead, holding his arm in an attempt to convince him. "It's the only way for me to know whatever he's up to. I've never heard of the name 'Somin' in school."

"Probably because she's from another place? I mean, not everything has to start in college or school." Jungkook tried to point out, his arms still on the same spot.

"But that makes no sense. Somin's from here, since Jimin always asks me to do flirty things with him because his 'ex' is around." you explain.

"Well that's mysterious. Do you in any case know how she looks like?" Jungkook asks, seeming to be interested now when he was very devoid earlier.

"Yeah. She has black hair and her skin is really smooth. Her face looks like a doll." you say, trying to remember what you really saw from her features.

"You seem unsure."

"I'm sure." you respond directly. "Any ways, can you help me find her?"

"Why find her when you already know she's real?"

"That's one thing I'm not sure of. How can I make sure if she is real?"

"What, you're saying you saw a ghost instead?" Jungkook says, laughing briefly.

You punch his right arm lightly and rolled your eyes. "Ya. Now is not the right time to joke around, Jeon Jungkook."

The male stops laughing right after your statement. "Woah. It's been such a long time since you last called me like that."

"Maybe I should call you that more frequently then for you to pay attention." you respond back.

"Don't worry, I'm always attentive when it comes to you." he says, winking playfully.

"So will you help me?"

Before classes could even start, you and Kookie decided to roam around the different classrooms. You each asked a person or two if they know anyone whose name is Somin, but they would always reply with no. This caused you both to do your research more intently.

"That's the 7th time we asked and none has said they know her." Jungkook says once you two get out of a classroom.

"I'm getting really suspicious, Jungkook." you say, eye brows furrowing in confusion. "Maybe she's from another year level?"

"Third year?" Jungkook asks.

"Yeah, let's go there."

"But we know no one from that batch."

"We don't know this Somin girl either, but here we are looking."

"Hey, I only joined because you forced me to." Jungkook states, huffing. "You know I can't resist you." he mumbles, which you weren't able to hear luckily.

"Let's go." you say, grabbing his and walking off. You arrive at the third year head quarters in a matter of seconds, since the distance between it and the fourth years is only a little.

"Where should we start first?"

"How about that one?" you point to a certain classroom with very few people. Upon agreeing with the black-haired male, you both head to that area.

A short lad exits from the classroom, but Jungkook makes him halt by kindly blocking his way. "Uhm, excuse me. I'm a senior, Jeon Jungkook. Do you know anyone who has the name Somin?" It's adorable how he introduced himself first instead of just asking directly. He was raised correctly, after all.

The junior student thinks for a moment, before sadly shaking his head. "I'm afraid not, hyung. I'm just a new student here, so I don't know that much people."

"Oh, that's fine. Thank you." Jungkook says and bows, despite being older. The younger nods and walks off.

"Hello there." you greet a girl with short hair, making sure to smile kindly. "May I ask you a question?"

"Sure thing, unnie."

"Do you by any case know a person named Somin?"

"Ah, yes I do."

You and Jungkook look at each other, a smile automatically forming on your faces. "Jinjja?!" you both exclaim to the girl.

"Mhm. I'll lead you."

"Kamsahamnida!!" you thank, almost in tears since you and Jungkook sure put a lot of effort to find this Somin person.

The third year student leads you to a certain classroom. "Yoo Somin! An oppa and an unnie are looking for you!" she yells, surprisingly louder than what you both thought she would be since she looked so petite.

You and Jungkook wait excitedly, full pf eagerness in your body and mind. You'll finally meet her, Jimin's ex, your rival. Soon enough, you that person finally shows up. But it shocked you both.

"Hello, what can I help you with?" a boy with a bowl haircut appears. You almost screamed from disappointment.

"Are you... Somin?" you ask in confusion.

"I am. What can I do for you?"

Jungkook blinks twice. "Uhm, excuse us for a sec as my friend and I discuss something important." He takes your hand and drags you somewhere private. "[Name], you have got to be kidding me."

"I-It's not the Somin we're looking for, Kookie." you say in slight desperation. You really wanted to meet her already. But Jungkook's thouhgts are way different than yours.

"You never told me your crush is gay, [Name]." he suddenly blurts out, eyes wide open.

"He's not, stupid!" you yell. "I told you, that was not the Somin we are looking for."

The school bell suddenly rings, signaling that classes will start. The third years students shuffle to their respective classes and the two of you ended up being alone in the hallway.

"Let's head to class as well, [Name]." Jungkook says as you nod in agreement. Kookie casually holds your hand as you two walk, making you internally blush. His hand felt right, but not wrong at the same time.

On the other hand, a pair of eyes watch you both. He actually has been doing so since you started searching for Jimin's ex. Once you and Kookie are out presence, the mysterious person leaves as well.
