Chapter 3 Meeting the Alphas parents

Alexis's POV

After what seemed like we were driving for about an hour and a half we pulled up to a big gate. Takoda looked over to his left and pressed a buzzer "Yes?" I heard from the intercom "Billy it's me" Takoda said sternly "oh sorry sir" "it's okay just let us in". After the big gate opened up we pulled up to a beautiful big house and in front there were children running around playing, off to the left I assumed we're people training because they were fighting, but not really hurting each other. I looked up to see Takoda opening my door and reaching for my hand I looked up scared to take his hand because I didn't know whether he was going to strike me or just let me fall. I took a chance and grabbed his hand and when I did I felt these tingles explode up into my arm to my heart making me feel all warm and safe, so with that I stepped out of the car to follow behind him into the big house which I thought was his house, but I was wrong it was only the pack house. "Do you like it?" Takoda turned and asked me I nodded my head scared to speak because I didn't want to get beat. "I am not going to hurt you I promise kitten" he said sweetly "It's beautiful" I said very lowly and if you didn't have wolf hearing you would have never heard what I said. My stomach let out a growl signaling that I was very hungry I covered my stomach and blushed though, "lets get some food into you I will show you the house afterwards" Takoda said smiling. Walking into the kitchen I saw a women sitting on a stool at the island drinking some coffee I looked up to Takoda, but his eyes were glazed over so I knew he was mind-linking, but then I turned to the women and noticed that her eyes were glazed over. After a minute the women came up to me hugging me saying "Welcome Alexis, I am Jasmine Takodas mom". I hugged her back still a little bit stiff so I didn't get crushed or a beating.
