2018 A/N: Hello! It has been quite some time since I have last written, and now that I look back at this story, I want to start anew. This includes HEAVY edits and some changing of the story. I hope that you enjoy.

I ran quickly, dodging trees and jumping over the fallen logs. I have no idea what I am running from, but every instinct in my body has told me to just continue moving. My foot clipped the top of a log and I went rolling onto the ground. I tried to catch myself, but the uneven ground left me sprawled out.
A howl pierced my ears and I scrambled up, trying to get away from whatever was chasing me. Dirt and dead leaves clung to my skin as I stood and began running again. Every muscle ached in protest.
My breathing was labored and my side ached for rest, but I pushed my body on. I couldn't stop, I just couldn't. Trees flew by as I ran, their branches scratching my face and arms and I sprinted through them. My footsteps were heavy as I ran, fatigue weighing down on my shoulders like bricks.
I could hear it now, its breathing and feet thudding on the ground sounded closer than ever. My legs slowed but I begged my body to continue forward. My life depended on it. I heard a snarl and risked a glance back. A massive wolf was behind me, its paws gripping the earth as it propelled itself forward.
A rush of fear ran down my spine as I continued running. It was getting closer by the second. I tried to jump over another log, but my sneaker caught the top of it, and this time I managed to roll as I fell, but still ended up flat on my back.
The wolf skidded to a stop, it's breath coming out in deep pants as it walked up toward me. A pair of icy blue eyes met mine and a snarl ripped through its chest. My chest rose and fell with each labored breath that I took, and I knew that I wouldn't have many left. The wolf pounced and I let out a scream.
I sat bolt upright in my bed. My nightmares always ending with a pair of icy blue eyes staring straight into my soul. They unnerved me, leaving me damp with sweat. I tried to shake off the fear, reminding myself as the hunter's Alpha, I had to be strong. There were no excuses to be made, and I couldn't slip up.
I slipped out of bed and got dressed quickly. Sleep wouldn't come to me for the rest of the night, it never did after those dreams.
I brushed my teeth quickly before practically sprinting out of my room. The moon was still high in the sky, but my nerves were already high strung for the day.
Today's the day we take revenge on the Silver Blood pack for everything they've done to us.
I opened up the door to the basement and I could faintly hear the snores of my warriors. Our planning had gone late into the night, and those without a mate or family chose to stay here at the pack house.
"Get your sorry, lazy asses out of bed!" I yelled down the stairs, the snoring catching as they began to wake up.
We have one of the largest raids that or pack has ever attempted, and I was expecting a flawless execution. That required each and every member to be up and ready before dawn - the perfect time to strike.
I descended the stairs, my footfalls heavy and I walked through the strew of bodies, maps, weaponry, blankets, and tired faces. I know that I've been coming down on everyone hard, but our pack needs this raid to be successful. The wolves have been pushing their boundaries lately, and with the murder on one of our own children, they were going to pay with every drop of blood.
